The Jerusalem Post is reporting this: (HT reader Roy)
The Elaph Arab media website reported on Sunday that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of the al-Qaida in Iraq terror group, may have been killed in Iraq on Sunday afternoon when eight terrorists blew themselves up in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
The unconfirmed report claimed that the explosions occurred while coalition forces surrounded the house in which al-Zarqawi was hiding. American and Iraqi forces are looking into the report.
Let’s pray this is true. Please, please, please. Let us all think happy thoughts that this freak is personally learning that it’s not 72 virgins terrorist Islamists get when they die, it’s 72 Virginians (perhaps Thomas Jefferson among them) who will not be kind to him.

I’m not jumping for joy yet, but if this turns out to be an accurate report, I’ll have a lot more to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
If its true its great news. Proves what a lier the guy kicked out of the Corps is. On Tim R’s show this morn saying we were getting our a-s kicked in the War on Terror and Bush was in China negotiating our surrender with the commies. I sure hope this is true. We need some positive news there

I’d have to see pics of his remains to believe it. Nonetheless, after he is captured, it’s not going to stop the suicide bombings. Every insurgent would have to be captured or killed before that would happen. Not to mention, the recruitment of the impressionable must be stopped.
