Iraq the Model has great news of Iraqi tribes rejecting the bloody madness of al-Qaida as they continue to take their nation back. This is one more indication that the depraved al-Qaida message is repudiated by decent Muslims everywhere.
Iraqi tribes in Anbar arrest 270 Arab and foreign al-Qaeda members!
The Anbar tribes’ campaign to rid the province of Zarqawi’s terror organization, al-Qaeda in Iraq is in its 2nd day and so far, 270 Arab and foreign intruders have been arrested.
[…]
Usama Jad’aan, the leader of Karabila tribes in Qaim told al-Hayat that “the operation will continue to eliminate terror elements according to a quality plan†and added “270 Arab and foreign intruders have been arrested, in addition to some Iraqis who were providing them shelterâ€.
Realize the significance of this–al-Anbar is the province which has been the most dangerous and deadly, it is where Fallujah is, and where al-Qaida has found the most support among the Sunni population. For Anbar tribes to be taking this step is an extraordinary event. Now the question is, will the MSM report on this remarkable news? I would think not, as it is a testiment to the the vision and success of the president’s foreign and war policy. And we can’t have that discussed, now can we?
I checked around on Google news and so far as I can tell it seems that the Sunnis are mad because Al Qeada is starting to kill them to. It was all fine and good when they were killing Shia’s, but now it’s time to draw the line. It also seems that the same groups that are fighting Al Qaeda are planning an armed resistance more based on killing our guys instead. So, it’s nice that they are going after Al Qaeda, but it looks like we need to kill these idiots to.
The root of the Sunni’s problem seems to be that they didn’t win a majority in the election. It sucks when the dictator isn’t on your side and you have to get along with everyone again.
Anyway, this seemed a fairly well sourced, if confusingly written article. Check it out.
