Nor did he mastermind it, nor give the orders. It is wrong to give someone the death penalty for something they DIDN'T do. Life imprisonment is the appropriate punishment here. With that as background: I really don’t think you are seeing the Moussaoui verdict in the right context. Yes, he came here with intent to commit 9-11 and he allowed / encouraged others to do it. For that, he deserves life in prison. But at the end of the day: He didn’t actually commit 9-11! Nor did he mastermind it, nor give the orders.
