That’s fine. As long as we continue to plan, Ahmadenijad can chide the civilized world all he wants. With all we saw in the last century, we know appeasing maniacal fascists condemns the world. If we are to say we learned anything from the Third Reich, it’s that you must stop this madness in its tracks, and since the Iranian people don’t seem to be willing or able to change things, the courageous in the civilized world will do it instead.
Oh, and if you dare call yourself a feminist and a liberal, and are against taking out the Mad Mullahs and all of Iran’s fascists, consider the story reported by LGF of “18-year old Iranian girl Nazanin Mahabad Fatehi, sentenced by an Islamic court to be hanged to death for the “crime†of defending herself against a would-be rapist.” After reading that story, you’re nothing but a pathetic hypocrite if you still condemn our work in general in the Middle East, and oppose attacking Iran. The treatment of women alone should be enough for Authentic Feminists to cheer not only the president but the United States Marines who have liberated and improved more women’s lives in the last five years than the modern American feminist establishment has done in the last two decades.

US spells out plan to bomb Iran
The US is updating contingency plans for a non-nuclear strike to cripple Iran’s atomic weapon programme if international diplomacy fails, Pentagon sources have confirmed…Tehran.
The main plan calls for a rolling, five-day bombing campaign against 400 key targets in Iran, including 24 nuclear-related sites, 14 military airfields and radar installations, and Revolutionary Guard headquarters.
At least 75 targets in underground complexes would be attacked with waves of bunker-buster bombs.
Hooyah! Let’s get to it.

Bless your heart for putting this up. I lived in Skopje, Macedonia a couple years ago, and Armenian-Iranians were already talking about whackjobs preparing to run (ruin) the country as far back as the Khatami days (about the closest Iran got to being a “normal” country). Beautiful work here…

If we were to add key regime targets (like secret police HQ, the residencies of the ruling revolutionary council members, etc…) perhaps the Iranian people would have a fighting chance to do something about all of this without the risk of dying for nothing.
The “Son of Xerxes” or whatever he’s calling himself these days, is nothing more than a sock puppet for the mullahs, a vociferous, crazy, and vainglorious sock puppet, but a sock puppet none the less. Knock the council of clerics that MADE him sock puppet president and their internal security apparatus that protects his sorry butt out from under him and see how long he lasts on the streets of Tehran.
My guess would be about as long as a Ho-Ho within the reach of Michael Moore or a bottle of scotch on the table of a Kennedy family gathering.
Sorry to disagree, but I just don’t think it’s our job to stop Iran from getting the bomb. In fact, if they want it so badly, we should give it to them. I’m sure one of those lovely B-2 airplanes could have it over there in a jiffy.
While it’s almost amusing to watch Ahmadinejad toy with the UN and the EU placaters, make no mistake, he is cruel and calculating, and his only true wish is to see the return of the 12th Imam. The way to ensure that is to push the world down the path he is taking us. Time to give him what he wants. We can only hope that in his last seconds on earth he sees the 12th Imam has a sticker on it that says “Made In The USA”.

If we don’t do something to get rid of Imacrazyman in addition to hitting military targets, then it’s going to be Iraq all over again. Israel took out Saddam’s reactor but that didn’t put him out of business.
FYI, There’s a great! book I read in 1990, “Bullseye Iraq” by Dan McKinnon. It’s short but very powerful account of Israel’s planning and execution of the bombing. Of course France and Germany figure prominently in the story! And guess what, they weren’t helping Israel.
Sounds like a plan to me , so what are we waiting for ? Let’s have our fireworks early this year and trash these sites and send Hitler Jr. back to Hades.
Bullmoose: The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced that the Iranian regime is putting its every last dime into the nuke program. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they have even sacrificed their internal apparatus to fund the nukes. That’s why I think that if we bomb the stew out of their nuke facilities, the regime will be left defenseless, and an internal overthrow (with a little help from our side, natch) will actually have a high probability of success.
