Hot Air has the links as well as a lot of background material, follow up and commentary. Proceed with caution but determination. It's devastating stuff, but important to hear the dead as they suffered. We owe them that. We also owe to them the destruction of terrorism worldwide. How ironic we have these voices today as America slips back into appeasement.

I live in New York City, and I will never forget 9/11. I can call up every sense, image, smell and emotion of that day. I can remember who I spoke to and where we spoke. Most of all I can remember never being as fully terrified as I was that day. I was changed by 9/11. Philosophically, politically, socially -- I was profoundly changed. One of the most striking aspects of that day was the clarity of the air, the bright sunshine. And I felt both wounded and awakened. I believe I see with clarity and precision now, whereas before I was in a fog. The most fundamental insight of that day for me was a)that the lives of all of us on the planet would be changed forever, nothing would ever be the same, and b)for the entity who brought us to our knees in an hour on 9/11, this was just a warm-up. What scares me now worse than the muslim fascists are those that are still in the fog of denial and not willing to call people and events by their right name. I look forward to reading Tammy's blog every day to stay anchored in clarity. Thank you, Tammy!

I live in NJ, my Dad was 4 block from it. Scariest day I'll ever remember.

There are three perspectives on this,

1) The wound is still too fresh, don't want to relive it.

2) It's propaganda.

3) We need to honor these people by not forgetting about them, and the cruel attrocity that was brought on them. If that means hearing their cires, so be it. Don't run, embrace it. Let it fill you with desire to see justice for this horrific crime.

One is certainly understandable. Two is very sad. Sickening even.

I, along with Tammy, stand with three. We OWE these people - our fellow citizens. Simply putting it out of our minds and pretending it never happened is completely unfair to them. What, you ask? We OWE them our resolve to justice.
