Ronery and Nucreah

“What does he have to lose?” asked one senior military official, referring to North Korean leader Kim Jong Il.

Gee, I wonder what we’ll do about this?

Hmm, maybe I need to go shopping at this stage.

I believe that caption should read, “Ronery and Nucreah”. [Done. :) --ed.]

Time to throw that Party at Ground Zero.

(referring to the pre-9/11 meaning of the term, ‘ground zero’ of course)

So nice of Rand Institute to remind the crazies what a great target nearby Long Beach would make. (and for those that care, here’s a link that will get you to the actual study)

In accordance with our Administrations lack of leadership in this issue, I have decided to put my faith in Team America. Yes, today we bought the movie. My husband and I figured we would at least get some laughs before the bombs fly.
Okay, I am being sarcastic. I simply do not know what else to add. I feel as if we are without leaders, but we have plenty of politicians. It pains me to say it; so very much. Again, where is my W??
Well, onto the show. Oh, yes we did buy Team America today, why not right? If only we had one.

That guy Kim is a psycho! I mean just look at his his picture! (no seriously, his real picture). He actually thinks Bush is like Hitler (so that’s were the liberal Left is getting that) and feels that they must destroy US before we destroy them. No lie – here it is in B&W. I saw this on TV, talk about breeding hatred..

Shestheone,

good post. I would also add that this is a long war and we are frustrated because it “seems” nothing is being done to fight the terrorists right now. I don’t for one minute believe that. In fact, you have Bush who is doing all he can to protect Americans and today you had another perfect example of how liberals are doing everything they can to undermine him with the idiotic judge’s ruling about the NSA program (and by the way, that is a lot more upsetting to me than anything Condi Rice is saying).

It does disturb me that someone as intelligent as Tammy is calling for the resignation of top officials in the Bush administration and makes me wonder if this is an isolated incident or a growing trend. Because as I sit here I see absolutely no basis for this severe a criticism. We’re not going to win every battle in this war (especially if our ally’s government has a Bill Clinton type running it). And in fact, this is not a battle for us to win. It was for Israel to win and they didn’t do it.

Bush’ plan is a bold and visionary plan to change the whole Middle East and it’s not going to happen overnight. In fact I think we’ve been a little spoiled with the swiftness of improvement and elections in Iraq and Afghanistan. I know that sounds odd with all the viloence in Baghdad but if you do a little digging you find that Iraq is so much better than it was 3 years ago. Just yesterday I saw a commerical where the Kurds were thanking Bush for helping them.

Sure, it’s irritating to see Hezbollah defeat Israel (by Hezbollah still remaining intact). At some point in the future, yes, Hezbollah will attack Israel again. And they will continue to do so until the Israeli government has the will to go in and make a parking lot out of Southern Lebanon.

But this struggle is going to last probably as long as the Cold War did, maybe longer. I think sometimes we get caught up in the day to day news cycle and forget the big picture. I do it myself sometimes.
