Lost: Troy Ingraham

Okay everyone, here’s a personal heads-up for everyone in the Washington, DC area. Troy, the much-loved dog of Laura Ingraham, one of my fellow Talk Radio Network hosts, has gone missing. Here’s the alert from Laura’s webpage:

KEEP TROY IN YOUR PRAYERS: On Labor Day, Laura was devastated to discover that her beloved dog of 12 years, Troy, had escaped from her home. As many of you know, Laura recently moved into a new house, and as a result, it is quite possible that Troy is disoriented and scared. He is a large Yellow Labrador, and was last seen wearing a red, white, and blue bandana; he was not wearing tags at the time. If you live in the Washington, D.C. area (specifically NW Washington) and/or have any information that might help find him, please call Animal Control at (202) 576-6664. You can also e-mail us. Laura hopes to return to the airwaves soon. Please keep her and Troy in your thoughts, as we hope and pray for Troy’s safe return.

Laura’s always been there for us, now it’s our turn to be there for her. As her alert notes, if you live in the NW Washington area, please keep a lookout for Troy or even make a special point of searching for him. Troy is a large Yellow Labrador last seen wearing a red, white and blue bandana. Thanks and good luck. Their email link works from Laura’s webpage.

My heart goes out to Laura. Losing a pet can be so devastaing. I pray she finds her doggie soon.

What a beautiful dog! I’m sorry I can’t help very much since I live in Ohio, but I hope things turn out fine.

The way Laura talks about Troy makes it clear that he is much more than a pet to her.

I believe he WILL be found.

I am very sad to see that Laura’s beautiful dog Troy has gone missing. Recently I was helping a friend who had lost a dog and found that the pet detective web sites have very good suggestions for finding lost animals, (including contacting all veterinarians in the area), and, as well, it seems, I am hearing lately of people successfully using professionals with tracking dogs to find lost animals. I will remember Laura and Troy in my prayers.
