Calderon sounds REALLY mad. I'm a little worried. What if Mexico decides to like breakup with us over this? Think of all the things we would miss, like.......ummm......... . And then there's........uhhhh........hmmm. I'll have to get back to you. But when I do come up with something I'm sure the realization will be VERY upsetting.

It's pretty weird that a fence on the border is somehow controversial. What sort of crazy world do we live in where someone can say this with a straight face?

Oh, and then they go on to say the fence will be ineffective, which would seem to neutralize whatever stupid reason they had to object to the fence in the first place.

The summary is that the world simultaneously hates us and wants to be us. Does any of this make any sense?

Clearly you must be one of the heartless, the mean-spirited, the greedy, the money-hungry. You would solidify the vague porousness of our border and traumatize all those who dream that it doesn't exist, doesn't matter, doesn't count, doesn't apply to them.

How can you sleep at night? I recommend Van der Leun's Universal All-purpose Downloadable Apology, suitable for framing. And get some therapy, girl!
http://americandigest.org/mt-archives/006203.php#006203

Waah. Our 'good neighbor' doesn't show any respect for our laws and our values and I should take note when they get testy because we (America) are making an effort to finally enforce our laws? Not bloody likely. Don't cry Tammy. ;-)

Did you read Salon's interview with Camille Paglia? (http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2006/10/27/paglia/index.html ). Drudge has a link to it; always interesting to read the thoughts of a Democrat dissenter. One of the biggest problems with Democrats today is that they parrot the points and there is no educated discourse or room for deviation from the 'plan', lest you be ostracised like Joe Lieberman (who, although not a saint, does appear to have some principles that drive a lot of his views).
