Democrats Already Spending Money They Don't Have

While all politicians and both parties these days love to spend, spend, spend, now the Dems aren't even waiting to get into office to spend money that isn't theirs. Just trying to get there makes them rush into debt like lemmings off a cliff.

Democrats squeezed to fund House races: Pressure on group to borrow millions

WASHINGTON -- With the prospects for a Democratic takeover of the House swiftly rising, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee yesterday came under increasing pressure from within party ranks to borrow up to $10 million to provide funding for several dozen candidates in competitive races who have received little or no national party funding.

The pressure follows confirmation yesterday by a Democratic Party official that the Democratic National Committee has opened a line of credit and plans to borrow $5 million to $10 million, with the money divided between Senate races and an effort to boost turnout of Hispanics and African-Americans in House races. But that loan won't be shared with the DCCC or go directly to House candidates.

And while the Dems borrow money, the Republicans have a record month in fundraising.

Gee, things might not be as bad for Republicans as the Establishment Media and pollsters would have us believe. Hmm...

Tammy,

It is sad to say, however, we are already past the point of no return when it comes to federal spending. This nation is 9,000,000,000,000 dollars in debt. That's 30,000 dollars that you, me, and every other American owes the IRS. To get some idea of what this debt is, consider the following:

If you were to put 9,000,000,000,000 one dollar bills in an airplane, take off, then throw each dollar out of a window at the rate of one dollar bill per second, it would take you 285,000 years to throw all of that money out.

Consider Social Security. Any reasonable person can plainly see that this system is not going to survive when the baby boom generation begins to retire. The government had no right in the first place to interfere with the retirement of its citizens. Today, every working American pays 12.5% into a system that barely returns 1% interest. Nobody in their right mind would ever select such a plan, but we are forced into it by politicians who are not even in the system.

These same people, because they cannot control themselves, have raided the SS Trust Fund lock box countless times to hide government deficits. Then they have the nerve to put back into the lock box worthless IOU's that will never be paid back. Social Security, by itself, will retire someone into poverty. Democrats are preventing us from having what they have, private accounts. And what is their solution to this mess, cut benefits by 20%!!!

Our politicians have spent this nation into a situation that has no answers. A financial disaster is on the horizen, and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Hundreds of millions of dollars is spent yearly on nothing but paying off the interest on the national debt. Not one school is built, not one highway is repaired, not one new teacher is hired; it is OUR money being thrown away, and do you know what the real sad part of this is, we remain silent and keep sending these theives to Washington.

Tammy, it is coming. God is not sitting in Heaven approving of the direction of this nation. We ARE under judgment, as we were before the Civil War began. The wrath of God is on its way. Be Prepared.

Is it just me, or does the borrowing of money at this stage of an election cycle sound like a bad thing? Even if it's just to "be sure we have enough" it sends a bad message to voters. If the Democrats were as in control of the election as we've been lead to be believe, they shouldn't be needing to take this radical step.

This situation, along with several others, leads me to believe the Republicans are going to hold Congress and may even win some seats. They may not completely deserve to do it, but sometimes the best you can hope for is the incompetence of the opposition to help you along.
