Jesus Named Honorary King

King Jan III Sobieski of Poland

In Poland. If certain lawmakers get their way. At least Jesus is welcomed somewhere. But you'll never guess who opposes the honor--the Catholic Church in Poland. Go figure.

For those of you who do not know your history, Europe (and hence the world) owes a great debt to Poland's King Jan III Sobieski, who in 1683 saved Austria from being overrun by the raging Islamist hoards. Without the courage and faith of King Sobieski, all of Europe would have fallen under the Islamist beast. In fact, that defeat of the Turks at the Battle of Vienna signaled the beginning of the end of the Ottoman Empire and the dream of a worldwide Islamist Caliphate.

Just a little bit of history which makes today's gesture by Poland for Jesus all the more poignant and appropriate.

My Polish grandparents literally got off the boat in New York Harbor, so I take interest. I did not know about King Jan, standing at the Gates of Vienna.

Modern day historians have uncovered new information about this period. It appears the Ottomans were in fact a peace-loving people who were provoked by a Polish warmonger named Georgi Bushki.

Of course the church opposes making Jesus an honoray king. That title is an insult and a slap in the face to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Kings bow to Jesus. They do not presume to award him honoray titles.
That is like Jim Kerry proclaming George Bush Honoray chief exec.
