Just Another Tear-Gassed Day in Paris

The Ken Doll rampage is now international. And once again, Paris, for some unknown reason, had to deal with marauding generic “youths” who, for no particular reason and in a rather organized way, rioted in one of Paris’ busiest subway/train stations, Gare du Nord.

Clashes Erupt at Paris Train Station

PARIS (AP) – Riot police firing tear gas and brandishing batons clashed Tuesday with bands of youths who shattered windows and looted shops at a major Paris train station, officials said. Nine people were arrested.

Officials said about 100 people were involved in the melee at Gare du Nord, one of Paris’ most important transport hubs. Officers and police dogs fired tear gas and charged at groups of marauding youths, some of them wearing hoods and swinging metal bars.

The youths responded by throwing trash cans and other objects at the officers. A group of youths smashed the windows of a sporting goods store and looted boxes of shoes. Others attacked automatic drink dispensers and set fire to an information booth.

In other French railway news, the French court did what the French do best and stuck it to a specific group of identifiably religious people–the Jews–by overturning an earlier court ruling which provided compensation for deporting Jews during WW II.

French railways win WWII appeal

A French court has overturned a ruling that ordered the state railway to compensate the family of World War II Jewish deportees…Last June a court ruled SNCF must pay 61,000 euros ($81,300; £41,400) to the Lipietz family, whose members were taken to a camp near Paris in 1944…Records show [French railway company] SNCF billed the French state for third-class journeys, even though families were transported in cattle wagons…Between 1942 and 1944 some 76,000 Jews were deported from France.

Yeah, no reason to send a message that France rejects Jew-hatred. After all, there’s absolutely no reason to think that France still hates Jews or is an issue they need to address. None at all.

Possibly no one else noticed, but this article shows that the French authorities should be feared greatly: “Officers and police dogs fired tear gas…” That is incredibly scary! My dog can barely swing a nightstick. What other paramilitary animal units are the French hiding from us?

I know this is the wrong site to ask (I can guess the answer easily :) but does anyone still harbor doubts about the intelligence (or lack thereof) of the French, esp their social policy. Sad, these generic people (certainly not Islamonazi fascists) not only hate Jews, but they are so ignorant about WWII and the non-islamic nazis that they don’t even know what a swaztika looks like (check the picture, front left, that “person” was the guy who flunked gym class because of all the homework
