Ft. Dix suspect denied bail, says he's 'not really a bad guy'

CAMDEN, N.J. -- A man charged with helping five others plot a terrorist attack on Ft. Dix will not be freed on bail, a judge ruled Thursday.

Agron Abdullahu, 24, had asked U.S. Magistrate Joel Schneider to release him from custody into house arrest. But prosecutors successfully argued that he was likely to flee and was a serious risk to the community's safety.

"I'm not really a bad guy," Abdullahu said. "If I could leave I would definitely go back to my old life. ... I would never do anything to harm this country."

Abdullahu, a legal U.S. resident, is charged with helping illegal immigrants obtain weapons, an offense punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

'A legal U.S.resident.' That's specificed because it means something, it offers a presumption that this person follows the law and loves this country. And soon, 20-million more people are going to be able to say the same thing and be described the same way, lending a sort of credibility to whatever they say making a mockery, as Abdullahu does, of what 'legal U.S. resident' means,

Hey. come on Tammy. How can you say that just because a guy helped enemies of our country obtain weapons to massacure Americans we can't trust him to go and be a good America loving citizen. I mean, Ice-T went from pimping young girls and urging people to kill cops to being a model crime hating cop on a leading series (for millions of ligit dollars a year). And isn't pimp and pornographer Snoop Dawg still a top roll model for grade school girls in the inner city.

The problem with you Tammy is you are just not with the way things are done today.

Shouldn't the MSM be refering to Agron Abdullahu as an insurgent? He is a legal resident, after all, which makes this a civil war.

Say - why are we involved in a civil war in New Jersey? We have occupied the place (without international approval) for 200+ years, and we still have not brought it under control.
