McCain Panics, Stands on His Head, Flip-Flops on Immigration

John McCain has suddenly changed his position on immigration! He also changed his name to "Tom Duncan Tancredo Hunter," danced the cha cha, dyed his hair purple, joined Cirque de Soleil, threatened to invade a sovereign nation (oh wait, that's Obama), endorsed setting up Murder Squads to assassinate, er, "capture or kill", people in other countries (oh wait, that's Obama, too), dressed like Marlene Dietrich, declared his love for Nancy Reagan, and then adopted all the children Angelina Jolie hasn't had time to get to.

All just a bit too little, too late. Won't he be surprised to find out we still won't vote for him and still think bad thoughts when we hear his name? Nice try though. For a pandering, patronizing self-obsessed loser who doesn't think much at all for the people of the United States. After all, if we secure the border, who will pick all that lettuce and dig the wells??

McCain changes course on immigration

WASHINGTON - Republican presidential hopeful John McCain on Thursday backed a scaled-down proposal that imposes strict rules to end illegal immigration but doesn't include a path to citizenship.

The move away from a comprehensive measure is an about-face for the Arizona senator, who had been a leading GOP champion of a bill that included a guest worker program and would have legalized many of the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants living in the U.S. It failed earlier this year.

"We can still show the American people that we are serious about securing our nation's border," McCain said in a statement, adding that the new bill would "provide an essential step toward achieving comprehensive reform in the future."

Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!

One last thought, with all that Manly Man talk from Barry Obama, I think it's pretty clear he's made the mistake of responding to a few of those "Add four more inches to your leadership skills" emails we all get. The problem, of course, is that you really don't get four more inches, you just get to look stupid.

Where are they getting this 12 million illegal immigrants number from? They certainly cannot mean nationwide, must be for California, pop. 37,000,000. Los Angeles alone has a population of 10 million, 50% hispanic, and at least 60% illegal aliens. At least 2.5 million illegal aliens alone in L.A. (This is a conservative estimate.)

The first thing that came to mind was, "Money talks and BS walks!" In McCain's case, I think both are talking. The sound of the campaign death throes have begun. You called it Tammy. His campaign is on total life support now..

Iguess the "Straight Talk" is now the Double Talk Express.

John was *never* a serious contender. Polls of *only* GOP never had him higher than 3rd nor over 10%. After Fred started gearing up in Mar John was never in double digits nor better than #4. This Summer Rasmussen and a few others showed him in very low single digits tied with both Duncan and Tom.
Poll of *all* voters/people showed him as high as 19% but most of those were liberals who would never vote GOP in a real election; and therefor should be ignored.

OK, I give. What does ROTFLMAO stand for? And why do bloggers persist in throwing around all these nebulous expressions that they presume everyone knows the meaning of?

ROTFLMAO = Rolling On The Floor Laughing My A** Off.

It helps to have a sense of humor these days if you're a conservative.

"presidential hopeful John McCain"

I was hopeful that I would make a million
dollars, but I finally gave up on that first million and now I'm working on my second million.

John McCain is working on his second try at being
President.

Posted by: WildBillK [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 3, 2007 07:26 AM

McCain's reasoning must have been something like this:
It doesn't matter how many illegal amnestitized mexicans vote in the next election, if I'm not in office it will only hurt the country and not help me. That's not acceptable. If it hurts the country the only acceptable offset would be that it benefits me and my political aspirations. Hence, if I'm ousted from office before they can vote, what good is anything? Life can be so complex.

Tammy,

This endless Oval Office Derby, with all these pandering peabrain candidates, is driving me to drink.

I always knew that the Demoncrats were selecting their Oval Office aspirants from the shallow end of the human gene pool. Now, it appears that the Elephant Clan is, too.

The more I learn about the choices we're given for the highest office in this land of the not as free as we deserve to be, the more depressed I get. Why? One of these knuckleheads is destined to become our next president. The thought that any of them will be given operational control of our nuclear arsenal is enough to drive this pagan scribbler to drink.

Fellow shamnesty advocates Lindsey Graham and Jon Kyl are cosponsors of this bill with Lettuce McCain. Gramnesty and Pile won't be winning their way back into voter's good graces that easily either.
