Which is exactly what she must be eating to make comments like these. There is no other way to explain why this woman is on such a completely different planet then the rest of humanity. Her connection with reality is now officially completely severed. Rice is not only a complete and utter failure, she's also fatuously clueless. With all the resignations out of the White House, why she still hangs on is not only frustrating, but now dangerous for our nation.

Rice: US trying to stop spread of WMDs

The United States is worried about the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and is working to prevent such proliferation from occurring, US Foreign Secretary Condoleezza Rice said on Thursday.

"It is our duty to take a stance on countries, and prevent the most dangerous people in the world from acquiring the most dangerous weapons in the world, and that is what we are doing everyday," Rice said during an interview on FOX News.

"We are working to stop this sort of activity," the foreign secretary said. "This is high on the president's agenda."

Newsflash for Condi: You. Have. Failed.

The woman has completely lost her mind. We're preventing proliferation? During the Bush tenure nuclear proliferation has been on tilt, with the world's most despotic nations either getting the bomb (North Korea) or fully on their way to getting it (Iran) without any functional action by us to stop them.

Here are at least two people who really do appreciate Condi's work.

The Israeli bombing of Syria was supposedly the targeting of nuclear site, but let's get real--any working site in Syria is Iran's, and only one of a multitude of sites working to create the ultimate weapon of genocide to be held by monstrous Jew-haters. Sending a few bombers to take out a satellite site in Syria will not stop Iran, anymore than we were capable of stopping North Korea, or the proliferation of nuclear secrets by Pakistan's A.Q, Khan, a network which many believe still operates to this day.

The woman is nothing short of a raging, disconnected Bush hack and should resign immediately.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis we had that moment when Adlai Stevenson went before the UN and made his presentation with photographic evidence of the actual missiles on the ground in Cuba. Maybe our side is waiting until we can have that same kind of moment. Or maybe, as Adlai said, we'll drag our feet 'until hell freezes over'.

Maybe waiting is a good strategy. Wait until Iran has poured billions and billions of dollars into the program, THEN destroy it all over the course of a weekend.

In your younger days, when you took the drugs, did you never actually take the magic mushrooms? Hell, if I had thought of our little enemies...and that would have been a reason to laugh while on the magic mushrooms...the would have been dead right quick...

The magic mushrooms, which you disparage by planting them in the magic paddies, provide moments of lucidity and clarity. Her comments are those of a sober disconnectoid.

I suggest YOU Tammy Bruce take some 'shrooms, and imagine the two most powerful teetotalers in the world getting sloshed in a grand piano with bubbles and stairs to nowhere.

Now that is a magic mushroom moment! And it might just end this PC war we are languishing in.

I cannot figure out what is going on with this administration. Rice's statement is the sort of thing one would have expected to hear from Madeleine Not-At-Albright. We know where Albright's line of thinking (along w/ the previous administration's inaction/weaknesses) led us. This is, indeed, very dangerous.

Considering how this administration has compromised everything from security to toys, food and drugs in order to appease our enemies in some way, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that '...at least two people who really appreciate Condi's work' are the ones supplying her w/ the mushrooms to spew forth such crap.

Unfortunately, artgal, the US Department of State was a bastion of politically correct thought before the term had ever been invented. Anyone who gets sent in is going to come out contaminated. After all, consider Colin Powell pre-State Department and post-State Department. My money says it's something in the air in those buildings.

I am so dejected and depressed at the continuing incompetence of this administration. It is such an embarrassment. I feel like we've been kicked in the teeth yet again. How much more can we take?
What can I say? Other than, I agree with your assessment of Rice, TB, and God help me, I'm desperately afraid of what is around the corner.

What in the heck is it going to take for these people to come to their senses? I always joke around with my friends that even I (a regular gal) could do a better job than they are doing if I were running things and had the power to do so. Kind of like you do when you imagine "the United States Of Tammy". Well, it's not even a joke anymore. I truly believe that you or I COULD! Hell, I KNOW I could! I mean, it seems to just be a matter of having someone with a modicum of common sense. Forget the Harvard and Yale degrees. I have come to the conclusion that, that means little to nothing at this point! How about a 'regular Joe' that has morality and decency and common sense and a firm grasp of right and wrong, good and evil, and an undying loyalty to his (or her) country?

Sorry that this post is such a downer, but for goodness sake....I am just exasperated.

I can only pray that we go to the polls in November with decisiveness and sobriety. Keeping in mind all that is at stake for the free world and the United States Of America!

May the good Lord keep us in his care...
