Amazing, it seems Simpson lied when he said there were no guns and no one was threatened or strong-armed when he was–allegedly–stealing sports memorabilia.

Three cheers to the Las Vegas police. Now let’s just hope they’re better at their job than the LAPD is at theirs.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) — Las Vegas police arrested O.J. Simpson on Sunday amid an investigation into an alleged armed robbery at a hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, a source close to the investigation said. O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday amid an investigation into an alleged robbery at a Las Vegas hotel.

The charges he faces are unclear. Simpson was arrested at his room in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, the source said.

On Saturday, Las Vegas police arrested Walter Alexander and seized two guns in connection with the alleged armed robbery, the source said.

I suppose it’s only a matter of time when Simpson gets out and starts looking for the real robbers–a Colombian drug cartel.

In the meantime, the Goldmans appeared on the Oprah show to discuss their release of the (appropriately new-titled), I Did It book which contains Simpson’s confession for the 1994 double-murder. I support their decision to release book and understand their desire to do so. Oprah, on the other hand, said dedicating a show to the topic was a “moral, ethical dilemma” for her. This from a woman who just had Mary Winkler on, the woman who spent just seven months in jail for murdering her husband, in an interview that clearly seemed like an attempt to rehabilitate that beast as she tries to get custody of her children.

The nicest thing I can say about Winfrey is that she’s a manipulative hypocrite.

Last week Oprah also had the children of 9/11 victims on her show. I found that very disturbing. We already know that those kids have gone through a nightmare and are in pain, we don’t have to see them crying on TV. That’s just child exploitation for ratings.

I admit it. I watched the coverage today. (Bad me, I know..) I hope to God that this time he stays behind bars for a very very long time.
I disagree with you Tammy on this book. I think it is repulsive. However, I can not judge the Goldman’s, it is their decision. Miss Oprah on the other hand..don’t even get me started on that one. Her Obama stalking gags me enough let alone her hypocrisy.
Have a great week..it’s going to be a bumpy one..

He promises to check every golf course in the country until the real crooks are found!
