Here’s a blast from the past: Marxist, actor and Jew-hater Vanessa Redgrave actually made the release of this monster possible. I suppose she feels especially safe because no one in her family takes buses in Israel or in London, or eats at falafel and pizza parlors in Jerusalem. How nice for them. Why am I not surprised that she feels a protective kinship with the terrorists at Gitmo?

Ex-Guantanamo detainees freed in London
LONDON (AFP) — Two British residents just released from the US-run Guantanamo Bay prison camp were let out on bail Thursday pending extradition hearings in London, while another was freed without charge.
Jamil El Banna, 45, who spent more than four years in the camp, was detained on a European arrest warrant after arriving back Wednesday night with two other British residents from the detention centre in Cuba.
“I’m tired. I want to go home and see my children,” said the long-bearded El Banna, who is wanted by authorities in Spain. Later television pictures showed him hugging his children after returning by taxi to his home. [Awww, how special considering so many men aren;t able to hug their children because they were blown up by his bosses in al-Qaida...] …
The hearings at City of Westminster Magistrates Court were told that Spanish authorities alleged that El Banna and Deghayes were members of an Al-Qaeda cell called the Islamic Alliance…
Meanwhile, Melanie Cumberland, a lawyer for the Spanish authorities, told the court that Deghayes was “a highly committed member of Al-Qaeda” and was “willing to participate in terrorist activities.”
One of the financial guarantors for the men was said to be the human rights activist and actress Vanessa Redgrave. She declined to comment on the financial backing but said outside court she was “very happy” to be able to help El Banna’s family.
“Guantanamo Bay is a concentration camp. It is a disgrace that these men have been kept there all these years and today Jamil will be back home and justice has been done,” she said.
Funny, it’s apparently the one “concentration camp” ever in the world where the detainees gain an average of 20 pounds each, as they fight over which DVD to watch and who will be on what soccer team.

And here, for a piece with Sixty Minutes, she insists she’s not a Jew-hater, despite, as one example, that little dance she did with the PLO and a Kalashnikov rifle. Funny, she insists she wants to fight fascism everywhere, yet condemns America defending herself and supports those who were captured on the Afghanistan battlefield, and whom even the Spanish believe are al-Qaida terrorist operatives.
Or, as is usually the case, we have to look at what people, like Redgrave, do not what they say. There we find the truth of the matter.

I sometimes still try to separate the artist from his or her beliefs if I don’t agree with them, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to do so.
The private and the public dichotomy may work for Hillary but as you’ve said many times, who we are in private does matter.
Doesn’t she realize that if Banna and Deghayes had their way,we would all live under Sharia law and she would be forced(meaning it’s NOT optional) to wear a burqua,along with millions of women around the world? Has she not heard about the lady in Saudi Arabia who was sentenced to 200 lashes for being gang raped?? And does she not realize that most likely,those two thugs will be back at work planning attacks on innocent people? How effing naive!

I’m not surprised by these Hollywood types. Calling her a creep Ripper is too nice of a term. These leftist who ally themselves with terrorists don’t even care that they are digging their own grave, and everybody elses too. I just read an article that Mohammed is the most popular name in England!!
But, if you want a better understanding of this kind of behavior and where it comes from I suggest a book called THE VOICE OF REASON. It’s edited essays from Ayn Rand and Leonard Peikoff. In particular look to an essay Rand wrote in 1966 called ALTURISM AS APPEASEMENT. It’s a detailed look at the philosophical and psychological implications of why individuals ally themselves with murderous ideologies and individuals. It’s the most astute articles she’d ever written. It helps me understand the Jane Fonda’s, Code Pink, The New YOrk Times, The Federal Government, Colleges and Universities of the world. And all other indivudals who don’t use logic as a thinking method. There’s some serious psycohological issues involved. But don’t take my word for it. Read it yourselves.
Ms. Redgrave doesn’t hate ALL jewish people, just those who are alive.
