Hillary Stars in "The Crying Game"

You have to give her some credit--she's a darn good actress. Or it may be that switch sticking out of her back. It's funny how her campaign announces the new, more accessible, more likable Hillary, she suddenly cries at discussion of her love for our country. Not once in the 17 years we've seen her on the national stage has this happened before, but now, somehow, she reveals her true, honest-to-goodness, emotional, feeling, deep self. On cue. Is Hillary that manipulative and calculating? Uh, yeah.

View the clip here. If you believe what you see is genuine, you should watch the 1975 "Stepford Wives" just one more time.

The WSJ Blog
also has a few things to say about her Emotional Moment.

Speaking to an intimate group of undecided voters this morning at a cafe in Portsmouth, Hillary Clinton showed a rare emotional side.

The last question of the Q&A breakfast session came from Maryann Pernold, a 64-year-old undecided Democrat. Pernold said that as a woman “I know it’s hard to get out of the house and get ready,” she said. “Who does your hair?”

“It’s not easy, it’s not easy,” Clinton said shaking her head. Her eyes began to get watery as she finished answering the question...The group of 15 women sitting around a table at the Cafe Espresso nodded approvingly...

Could this be her Edmund Muskie moment? In 1972, Muskie appeared to cry as he fumed against New Hampshire’s conservative Manchester Union-Leader, which had attacked his wife. For the Maine senator, who had been considered a front-runner, that moment punctured the campaign and eventually led to its collapse.

That won’t be the outcome if voters think like Pernold, who was satisfied with the answer. “She really loves us and wants us to succeed in the world,” she said. “I think she’s real now, there’s a person there.”

Personally, I think we should vote for a person who's been, uh, real and a person for a while, not just since Friday.

Who is the bigger leftist - Hillary, Obama, or John Edwards? I think that Obama is the most dangerous candidate out there. Edwards is a creep but I do not think that even he believes the crap he spews, Hillary is calculating, but Obama is a total naif.

Even though she's put a heavy spin and a new paint job on her profile, we're all pretty clear on where Hillary stands. She's an avowed Socialist, even if she tries to hide it. Edwards is just plain creepy and a trial Lawyer to add to the fire. I can't think of anyone who's sleazier than a trial lawyer, with the exception of a politician who's a trial lawyer. He's so slick rain would bead up on him in a downpour. I'm not sure about Obama. He's the X factor as far as I'm concerned.
