Barack Be Daddy. Very, Very Strict Daddy!

And Michelle should know. And I'm sure if Barry doesn't kick your behind, she will. After all, just like the country in general, you haven't made her proud, either. And boy, do you have it coming! From NRO's Campaign Spot, reporting on another gem from Michelle Obama.

"Barack Will Never Allow You to Go Back to Your Lives as Usual."

Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.

Click through the link, Geraghty has the actual audio. While Barry may be the super secret careful politician who knows how to not say things, Michelle may be his Achilles Heel. Funny what happens when someone doesn't know they should at least pretend to not have contempt for you.

UPDATE:

Michelle has apparently received the "how to spin a remark that reveals your contempt for America" memo.

One day we're going to know more about B.O. Hussein and Michelle, and then maybe they'll stop being all things to all people. It made news the other day when Michelle said of their victory, "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country...not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change." That's a pretty strong statement, and a narcissistic one: She wasn't proud of the country until she got to be the center of attention. It was no good until it was all about me. And this article is an expansion of the same sentiment: You're not allowed to ignore us. We're coming into your lives, so you better get used to it. This is well and good if our goal is to maximize government and worship our leaders. I'd rather ignore the government as much as possible.

Tammy it may well be the time has come where we grab our barf bags and start supporting McCain. The thought of these two defeatist socialists in power makes me sick.

I used to snicker when folks went ballistic at the mere mention of Huckabee. They really believed that the Huckster was the reincarnation of Torquemada (actually, he was the political reincarnation of Jimmah Carter, but I digress).

Do the folks who fell into a swoon at the mere thought of a Huckabee Administration not follow Democrat Party politics at all? Name me a Democrat candidate or officeholder who does not believe that he or she is God. After all, Torquemada only claimed to represent Him, not actually be Him. The only difference between Barack the Messiah and other Democrat officeholders is that he simply has a larger stage to strut upon than they do.

It appears the tired and disorganized Stalinist Clintons are to be replaced by the vigorous and capable Stalinisr Obamas. No respect for the constitutional limits of government power, no respect for the right to be left alone. The gauntlet is thrown down. Randy.

My surprise level at these people on the left continues to register zero. They appear to honestly believe that they are better than the rest of us; smarter than the rest of us; and holier than the rest of us.

I have some news for them.

We got along just fine before they came along, we get along just fine without them, and we will get along just fine after they are long gone and forgotten. They are neither better than the rest of us; smarter than the rest of us; nor holier than the rest of us. There is no divine right of kings.

This is a very sad day in America, that all we can come up with are 3 do nothing senators, save Huck, to vote for President. 3 or rather 2 empty suits and an empty dress. This is my assessment:

OB Hussien- what we are getting is our first Affirmative Action President. To undo the ills of the past in the minds of the ignorant electric. "As long as he's black" mentality. Don't care what his ideas are. Dr. MLK would not be proud of this, President Hussein.

McCain- what we are going to get is another Bob Dole, or dull, moment. McCain has no fire in his belly! Like Dole, he doesn't articulate well and if he gets into that senator posture and verbage, people will not connect. The Presidency is fought for not "earned", as this next loser will testify.

Hillary- what can I say, but "I will not vote for that woman, Hillary Clinton"! People are just "sicko" of the Clintons! Get off the stage please!! It's not that you are a woman, but, unlike OBH, people do listen to your words and ideas and don't like them or your past behavior, nor Bills.

That's it. looking forward to mid-terms and 012.

Tammy, I agree with Ripper. It's time to hold our nose and start supporting McCain. There is no alternative. There is something very wrong with all this Obama-mania. It is clear that Michelle Obama meant that this is the FIRST time she's been proud of the country. Ever look for an American flag at an Obama rally/victory speach? It's like playing "Where's Waldo?" You're lucky if you spot one. It's also clear that the mainsteam media is now the soviet style propaganda arm of the Obama campaign. Something is very wrong here.

Horrifying: substitute "Big Brother" for "Barack" and I'd swear that quote came straight out of 1984.

How dare he order me to abandon my cynicism? Public cynicism is what keeps these crooks in check.

Posted by: Ripper [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 21, 2008 12:35 PM

Was that Michelle or Oprah talking? They sound identical to me. God help us if Oprama is elected. I won't live to see forty-eight (I'm forty three now).

M.O. sounds an awful lot like like some radical Muslim hate-filled speeches I've read about some jacked up version of human-made "holiness."
