I will not vote for McCain. I would rather vote for the real democrat over the 'pretend' conservative. But actually I just won't vote for anyone if McCain wins the primary. I will vote for state reps and such but I will leave the president check boxes blank. I cannot vote for McCain who is as conservative as Hillary and as far right as Obama. I will not vote for him. I voted for Perot twice. I understand that is why the democrats won those elections. If the republicans do not want to lose this one too then they better choose Romney in the Primaries. I would have preferred Fred or Hunter, but I will vote for Romney. I will NOT 'hold my nose' and vote for any idiot the New York Times endorses as the republican candidate. We were originally supporting Rudy Giuliani and now we’ll support Romney, of course, with the proviso if McCain is the nominee, he’ll have our vote. Reason being is the alternative, not so good even though the other alternative may not be either.

I’ve just heard time and time again that some people don’t like Romney or don’t like the fact he’s a Mormon (who cares I say) and even some conservative type pundits say if he was the nominee obama or hillary would be a shoe-in…. I just cannot see that myself but was wondering what others who support Romney are thinking about this matter.

My husband is retired military and some people are surprised we don’t automatically support McCain. Now if he is the nominee, yes, we’ll vote for him howbeit reluctantly…
