Just like the candidate, stylistically this is quite excellent. But as Hannity showed us tonight during a Frank Luntz focus group segment, there isn’t much there there. Yet. I am so frustrated because I would love to be able to vote for Romney today, but I can’t. As a Democrat, and because the Republican primary in California is closed tomorrow, I’ll be voting in the Dem primary and for Barack Obama. I think he’s probably the most leftist candidate we’ve seen in ages and I don’t want him anywhere near the White House because of his policies and his campaign’s closeness to Soros (among other things), but I also think he’s inherently a decent guy personally. I’m hoping, after this experience, he rejects the system that creates a Hillary and Bill Clinton and empowers disturbed scum like Soros, and finds a more independent path. I have to admit, he’s already pretty deep in the muck of Washington, but one can hope.
Frankly, I’d like it if the Dems put Obama forward. It’d be nice if we didn’t have to put up with the Clinton’s dirty tricks for once. I also think a Romney/Obama debate would let people see real contrast on substance.
This art reminds me of all those pics we see of the socialist dictator du jour in South America! Sorry Tammy, not on board with your analysis of this at all. But it would be boring if we agreed all the time, right?
Obama is lost to the socialist masses my friend. He is way way way left, so much so his policies I believe are downright dangerous.
Oh my goodness what a day we have in store. Happy voting everyone.
VOTE MITT!!
Okay, this is a kindergarten-level comment, but we just can’t have a president with the initials of B.O.
If I were a Dem I might have to go with Clinton over Obama; though I utterly loath her, I can appreciate her mean streak. She’s tough, and I like tough, especially in these times. Obama may be “decent” to the point of being weak, and he would either A. be walked all over by his counterparts, or B.not be capable of making tough decisions. The man can’t even SAY the word terrorist, he uses the term “irresponsible behavior”!! In fact his language is saturated with euphemisms. And it’s not naivete on his part, he’s just plain soft.
And I don’t for a moment mistake that ideological “I have a dream” demeanor for character.
Basically, I’d vote Clinton for the same reason I would over McCain: strength vs weakness. (And I believe McCain has far more character and is a greater patriot than Obama.)
But enough of this, it hurts my brain coming up with reasons to vote Hillary over anyone!
Miss Tammy, next time a silly person like Mr. Beckel patronizes you as Bobby did, please explain to the audience that you understand patronizing means to look down on someone with an air of superiority. The elites (in their own mind) of all parties and media affiliations constantly do this and it needs to be exposed.
It may be too late for me to convince you, but: Tammy, please don’t.
Especially if McCain is the nominee, we have to face the very real possibility of Barack Hussein Obama being our Commander-in-Chief. I would much rather have Hillary at the helm as disgusting as she is.
A likeable Leninist is MUCH more dangerous (because he will be more effective in pushing us to Redness) than an unlikeable Marxist.
And about the fantasy of him coming around: this man as 46 years old. He is the most liberal Senator in Congress. Conversions don’t happen this late in life unless someone hits rock bottom. And the way this incompetent leftist is being propped up because of his race, he is going no where near rock bottom any time soon. But the country may if he is our President.
Today we will see the the term “useful idiots” used in the exact way that Lenin meant it when he said it. I encountered a batch of NYU-looking Hillary supporters handing out leaflets by my Subway station, and in my head all I could hear was the Wicked Witch’s henchmen’s marching song from the Wizard of Oz (oh-ee-oh…ee-OOOOH-oh).
This is gonna be a long day, especially for those of us that have to work it for the media. Good thing there was a sale of Brisochi at the mini-mart.
I totally agree with Tammy. Next Tuesday Maryland has its primary, I’ll vote Obama and so hoping for a major defeat for Hillary. This must be mind-blowing for the Obama and Hillary people in that they have in other elections always been connected at the hip. I’m actually attending an Obama rally in downtown Silver Spring tomorrow night to witness it firsthand, taking my 16 year old daughter as well (she’s already warned me not to tell people there that I am then voting Republican in November -teenagers have no confidence in the elderly).
They are trying to turn him into an iconic figure like that murderous coward Che Guevara. Obama has zero qualifications to be President.
If there were powers to be, something greater than our government – that controlled our government – this election year would expose their arrogance.
Take a good look at the media’s choice. People are just gulping down for the well of ignorance
McCain – Clinton – Obama
This is a Manchurian Election
Take your pick and you (we the people) lose!
I hate to say this about Obama, but I think he has sold his soul to the political god, something happened to him right after the South Carolina debate. Which is a whole other rant for another time.
There is only ONE candidate that hasn’t sold his family, moral, religious, and patriotic values to expand or feed his ego and if it is meant to be, he will get enough delegates today to keep his head above water until the convention.
I think something is lost with the closed primary system. One would think that the parties would want to know how independent voters will vote, even in the primary. It would be usefull even if the ballot for independents was an “advisory vote”, counted separately and not binding on the delegates. As it is, the Reps. could go 3-1 for McCain, who stands virtually no chance with me.
