Not.
Feel free to use this thread for your links/commentary as the day unfolds. Many are emailing me with worries about what we do if McCain really does become the nominee. Look, let’s deal with one issue at a time. Focus today on your vote and influencing as many other people as possible.
Tammy Radio today will keep you apprised of political events and happenings through the day, as well as other important news.
Just reported on Fox, an interesting point from Romney today regarding McCain. He compared the McCain candidacy to Bob Dole’s in 1996, saying McCain is simply the next guy “in line,” and the establishment decided it was McCain’s “turn” to be the nominee. Romney noted this when asked for comment about Dole’s attempts to get Rush Limbaugh to back off of his attacks on McCain.
Interesting point from Romney, and he’s right. Once again, it is the establishment that has “decided” who the nominee with be and presumed we would go along to get along. Just like the amnesty bill, the American people are viewed by these dinosaurs as speed bumps on the road to control and power.
Oh yes, and remember today, God loves us, now let’s go and kick some ass!
UPDATE 10:55am PT:
Drudge is reporting, without a link, that voting equipment has failed to be delivered to polling stations throughout Los Amgeles. Here we go….As soon as I get more info on this I’ll bring it to you.
Also, here is a list of the poll closing times.
Since Giuliani is out, tonight I will be voting for Romney. I would love to wipe the smirk off of McCain’s mean old face. I see Mr. E.D. Republican Establishment that exciting candidate from 1996 Bob Dole is for McCain. Somehow I am not surprised.
The polling places in Massachusetts opened at 7:00 am. I was able to cast my vote for Romney just before class.
I’ve already encountered a horde of Hillary and Ron Paul supporters today. I feel like I’m in some kind of bizzare Star Trek episode where Kirk walks into a mirror and suddenly this crazy stuff happens.
Go Mitt, go…rock the house, shock the house!
The Obama forces have been out in force at the train stations in San Francisco last night and this morning. I have yet to see any Hilary supporters.
As for the Republicans, I have seen signs on lawns for both Romney and Ron Paul in my my neighborhood just outside the San Francisco city limits.
I’m a mail-in voter..unfortunately for me, my guy already dropped out :-(
here’s hoping for a Romney day…McCain scares the hell out of me…
I’m frustrated that one of the cosequences of re-registering as a “not willing to declare a party affiliation, got me a ballot without any candidates on it. I liked it better when California was a vote for any candidate state. I just hve to trust in others to stop the McCain train to Amerexico.

I made that observation a couple of weeks ago and received quite a number of “but Bob Dole is a nice guy” responses.
Well, of course the point has nothing to do with him being a “nice guy” but rather his electability.
Clinton trounced him, and for good reason.
