B. Hussein Obama=Cry Baby

cryingbaby.jpg

Apparently he now believes that he is the sole determiner of what the Repub Party can, and cannot, say. Based on what he finds acceptable. He also seems to have a strangely weak bladder as he decries, *sniff*, his wife being pointed to and rebuked. Or could this just be another attempt to try to prove who wears the pants in that house? Hmmm...

'Lay off my wife,' Obama tells Tenn. GOP

Obama, his party's presidential front-runner, and his wife, Michelle, were asked in an interview aired Monday on ABC's Good Morning America about an online video last week by the state's Republicans taking her to task for a comment some considered unpatriotic.

The Republican Party "should I be the nominee, can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record," Obama said. "If they think that they're going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful because that I find unacceptable, the notion that you start attacking my wife or my family."

He called the strategy "low-class."

Would that be the same sort of low-class like having a father-figure who declares "G-damn America!" in front of a "church" going audience? That sort of low-class? Or the low-class of stating that a whole bunch of Americans from a whole bunch of states "cling to guns and religion" to express their frustrations? That sort?

Barry accuses the Tennessee Repub Party (we need to rethink using the GOP nickname these because it certainly isn't) of making his wife an issue. Newsflash for Barry: your wife makes herself the issue every time she opens her mouth. And guess what Barry, comments made at a political event to support your political campaign can and will be used to remind people exactly who you and your wide are. And no, it's not pleasant, is it?

And now, for your enjoyment, is the Super Scary, Insulting, Barry Doesn't Find Acceptable, Might Need Depends to Cope, 4-minute web video.

Right on Tammy,

Sure, I don't support degrading personal attacks. However, anyone who injects themselves continually into the campaign deserves to have the public words challenged.

What about Pres Bush's supposed attack on Obama? That can be analyzed fairly. To me, though, Obama and the other dems reacted like crybabies. Obama a crybaby again.

Today he is lumping Bush and McCain together. Like them or not, they are not the same. Oh, and he cited Pres Reagan in his speech. OK. I don't mind Obama considering new diplomatic measures, but I still think he underestimates and misunderstands world politics. Do we need someone with so much to learn on the job?

Tammy,
Only the most malignant of narcissists claims the right to sanction topics of conversation he deigns to give his approval. Henceforth, we must all submit our questions in writing to Lord and Lady Obama in order to receive the royal seal. Clearly, HRH Barack I understands that the most effective political ads are those that simply show an opponent speaking his or her own words rather than someone else twisting them into something they're not. Doth His Majesty resent being hoisted on his own petard?

Well... this is Tennessee, what does Barack expect? This ad is obviously a product of a bitterness produced by people clutching their pistols and Bibles with antipathy toward Michelle.

She's kidding? NO!

In the first place, her husband is a candidate for public office and so what she says reflects on him, herself and the party. Speaking of THE PARTY....

Does someone care to explain to us civics students and readers of the Bill of Rights on WHAT GROUNDS allows the NATIONAL Democratic OR Republican Parties to have any LEGAL stand to hold back delegates and refuse them voice and equal representation from Florida and Michigan?

Here's my logic.

1) The 10th Amendment reserves to the States the several rights not enumerated in the Constitution to the federal government. Therefore...

3) STATE ELECTIONS must be of the people of the several states WITHOUT any federal interference other than the constitutional protections for representation.

The people as referenced in State Constitutions is without reference to one or more political parties. parties are irrelevant and unnecessary. No PARTY can dictate to the legislative and governing bodies of any state when they CAN and CANNOT hold their primary or election.

I can't believe that AMERICANS AND THE MEDIA have been so completely dumbed down as to not see how ridiculous and illegal this ploy is. The governors could and in fact should not only demand their delegates be seated at both conventions; they could file a criminal suit for election tampering against the the national party hacks of either party because they interfered with their decisions in the first place.

If parties do not wish to participate in some way, they can protest, bitch, moan or otherwise play nasty, but in the end states decide when to hold their elections and primaries.

So long as states meet their own constitutionally mandaded ordinances for conduct of such elections, I do not see how the "parties" can have ANY SAYSO AT ALL other than to live and abide by what the states have so dictated back up to Washington.

Can someone tell me where I am wrong on this. Surely Hillary Clinton has had to have figured this out by now. If she hasn't, then who in the world would ever have hired her or her firm to practice LAW on their behalf? How can she be a worthy treaty negotiator? Why isn't OBAMA out their championing the rights of the votors in Florida and Michigan?

It's a complete farce this refusal to seat delegates ploy... and it's probably criminal of one really wants to look at it just below the surface. It only takes one voter in each state to file an injunction in a friendly court to get those delegates seated. None of Al Gores attorney's could get that injunction overturned...its a STATE'S RIGHTS ISSUE).

I PREDICT MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA WILL BE SEATED AND PRECISELY BECAUSE NEITHER PARTY HAS ANY LEGAL STANDING TO DICTATE TO THE STATES ANYTHING REGARDING THE PEOPLE'S RIGHTS TO REPRESENTATION UNDER THE STATE CONSTITUTIONS AND REITERATED B Y THE US CONSTITUTION AND SPECIFICALLY THE 10TH AND 14TH AMENDMENTS.

I seem to recall that Michelle was the one who spoke out. Maybe she should just stay home and count her 'miseries'.

Personally I believe that B. Hussein Obama has hit upon a solid strategy.

He talks about "hope" and "change" but gives no specifics.

His wife comes on and gives the specifics.

The Republicans respond by challenging the specifics given by his wife.

This is followed by B. Hussein Obama defending his wife against the "Republican smear machine"

The Republicans cave and surrender because they don't want to appear mean by attacking his wife.

He wins and America loses.

Any questions?

Tammy,

If Barry O'B does - God forbid - become POTUS, it could be very entertaining for rational adults.

He better HOPE he develops a spine. Because his first header into hammer-heads like Putin and that raving lunatic running Iran will CHANGE Barry into a very unhappy camper. Both of them are likely to tell Barry a lot of things he doesn't want to hear, and telling them to shut up is not an option.

Poor Barry.

Hey John, i couldnt agree with you more , im so tired of the whinning Obamas, what kind of presidential candidate is this?
I thought it was "We The People" not we the Obamas!! I guess its gonna be along 4 for America!! I just Hope my husband doesnt get sent back home, so we can be attacked again by these idiots who are just hovering over us waiting for that inexperience to take office, I truly am scared for my country!
What have we become when we let a position of this magnitude be put in jeopardy by college students and mtv, does he honestly think all the Dems are voting for him because hes smart!! No its because they can use his inexperience to bend him any which way but lose! so he even is to inexperienced to see hes being used as a puppet in his own party!! As for Michelle, who cares , she doesnt deserve the amount of press shes getting!!

See how USA Today spins the Michelle Obama situation: The Republicans are "taking her to task for a comment some considered unpatriotic". It's not that "some consider" her remarks to be unpatriotic; it's that her remarks are unpatriotic. They were a clear condemnation of the nation. And when that didn't fly well, her husband wants the topic off limits. That's an absurd request, considering his wife would be First Lady and a visible symbol of America. And USA Today is deliberately taking the obvious reality of Michelle's lack of patriotism and casting it as a relativistic thing that's true or not true depending on your perspective.

Dan, a mere HRH for His Royal Highness, the style of a prince? I would assume he'd expect and demand nothing less than HIM for His Imperial Majesty, the style of an emperor.

Posted by: Dave J [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2008 02:43 PM

"...demand nothing less than HIM for His Imperial Majesty, the style of an emperor."

More like Infernal Majesty ..

But that name is already taken by a poser death/goth rock band.

Ms Obama is a lawyer isn't she? She should know that anyone testifying in court opens themself up to cross-examination. If she's gonna shoot off her big mouth with "blanket" statements about "mean old America" then I think we have a right to ask her to explain herself without Barack whining about it.

If he want's to go toe-to-toe with world leaders as one of the above posters mentioned, he's gonna need to grow a spine or they're gonna eat him alive. Personally, I think he's in way over his head and it's time someone exposed him for the empty suit he actually is.

Apparently, some Republicans think the Tennessee GOP is mean and nasty too. Senator Corker has taken umbrage with the "Proud of America" ad:
