Filling In For Laura Ingraham on Monday

**Program Note: If you don't get Laura's show, or if your local affiliate isn't carrying my fill-in, you can hear the show at Talk Stream Live. KRLA in Los Angeles, as an example, doesn't carry my fill-in because I'm talent at a competing station, so choose the other available Laura link. Thanks :)

Once again, I have the honor of filling in for Laura tomorrow, Monday, May 5, 6am-9am PT. Yes, it is Cinco de Mayo. As most of you can imagine, I wouldn't necessarily suggest we all celebrate a Mexican holiday but in this instance it's special. Many think Cindo de Mayo is the Mexican Independence Day. That's not true--it's even better! The 5th of May is the day the Mexican defeated the French who were attempted to invade them. Oh sure, the French eventually occupied Mexico City, but the Mexicans eventually won.

Yes, even the Mexicans have defeated the French, and it is a holiday worth celebrating. So, have a Margarita, and perhaps some delicious Mexican food and offer a toast to the Mexicans who knew Mexico was worth fighting for. Those of us fighting for the border wall still believe that.

Yeah!! I love it when you sub for Laura!
Looking forward (however, I think I will catch it on the podcast) to hearing your take on this weekend's antics.

Listening to Clinton and Obama at the Jefferson Jackson Dinner. Obama's hatred of business was very apparent. He is telling everyone they can have $4,000 tuition if they work in the community volunteer projects he deems worthy.

Clinton isn't much better, but I do believe she seems to believe that people can work in something other than just non-profit endeavors.

Michelle Obama has condemned the terrible fact that people that get student loans have to work in evil companies to pay off their student loans rather than working as nurses, teachers and non-profit employees. So while the Obama family rakes in millions of dollars everyone else should work as service workers to them. Since they are smarter than everyone else, they should be the leaders and the rest of us their servants.

I am just waiting for Michelle Obama to release a stream of vile racist hatred with the pressure of the campaign. The family was pulled out for photo ops and the "vote for my daddy" from the the little girls for the cameras and pandering press was cheap.

Tammy,

This news story from Reuters is interesting in that it claims that the murderous Nigerian rebels have been asked to do a cease fire by Senator Obama. http://tinyurl.com/5g9jdq
IF this is true, I would like to know who else he is negotiating with? Is he negotiating with the Taliban or Al Qeda?

Hence, L.A. has taco trucks not crepe trucks.

Tammy,

If we're going to be celebrating every day that the French were defeated then we'll be celebrating every day! Easier to recognize a day when the French weren't defeated.

Now I will resist a bunch of bad French jokes.

Skeptic,

IF true that would be an actual "October Surprise" rather than the one the left claimed for Reagan.

Tammy:
I only get two hours on a staticky station, but I'll be sure to listen in because you're always clear as a bell.

From the Wikipedia reference:

"According to a paper published by the UCLA Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture...'The holiday, which has been celebrated in California continuously since 1863, is virtually IGNORED in Mexico.'[6]"

I'm just sayin'... .

Hey Tammy... riffing on your slam of those who tell conservatives to forget the magnificent President Reagan.

Sure, this from leftists who support the reactionary socialist/communist/marxist ideologies which have been proven to fail for at least a 100 years.

When does support of this substitute-religon (which has led to the penury, impoverishment, imprisonment and death of untold millions) move from a blind ignorance, to an sort of evil acceptence that you can't make an omlet without murdering a few million.

You want to know how a Cambodia could happen? Most countries are a left-wing coup away from this type of degredation.

I love when I hear Laura's opening theme and the voice welcoming me to Monday is Tammy.....my favorite.
You lucky bastards who get her every day!
