On O'Reilly Factor Tonight Re Ferraro And Dem Sexism

At first they booked me for tonight, then unbooked me because of the breaking malignant brain tumor Kennedy news, but now we're back on. As of right now, the segment is set to air at about 5:40pm PT (8:40pm ET). I hope you can tune in,

What will be especially fun is that Laura Ingraham is in for O'Reilly and we'll be discussing Geraldine Ferraro's comments that the Obama campaign is so sexist she may end up voting for McCain in the fall.

Geraldine Ferraro, calling Barack Obama "sexist," may not back him

And Ferraro, a staunch Hillary Clinton supporter who sparked a brouhaha earlier this year over whether she made a racially dismissive remark about Barack Obama, apparently is no longer a reliable Democratic vote.

Ferraro, in the NYT story, terms Obama "terribly sexist." And, as a result, she says she may not be able to cast her ballot for him if, as anticipated, he gains the Democratic presidential nod.

Morrissey at Hot Air has commentary and more, including video of a Ferraro appearance this morning, expanding on her concerns.

Make no mistake--this is a message to the Obama camp that Hillary will play every card possible. Ferraro's message is one thing and one thing only: permission for women to consider voting for the Republican (which is convenient for them considering McCain is essentially a moderate to conservative Democrat anyway) in lieu of supporting a sexist Democrat.

Ultimately, while I admire Hillary's refusal to back down under increased pressure by the boys (after all, if he's so sure he's the nominee, why push her so hard??), I do find it somewhat ironic that the woman married to Bill Clinton, who was impeached because of his own willingness to lie to a federal judge over his own sexism (manifest as sexual harassment) has now found herself battling it again, perhaps at the cost of her own dream.

Just heard Ferraro on Fox and got the distinct impression that she thinks we should be sympathetic to poor li'l Hillary because the boys are too rough on her.

She cannot say that and then turn around and expect us to trust Hillary to defend us against the overt male supremacist thugs of the mohammedan block.

She should, if only she could, be reveling in how well her girl boxed her opponents' ears back.

Thatcher could have and would have.

But Hillary can't cut it.

Not to imply that B. Hussein is going to do anything significant against the mullahs.

We've now got two former Dem candidates for vice president going for McCain? How about the trifecta, and have Schwartzenegger twist his brother-in-law's arm, and get Sargent Shriver in the mix. Gore and Edwards are probably not leaving the reservation.

I just realized something (sometimes it takes a while): Dems keep saying that Hillary needs to get out because her staying in hurts the party.

But that is only true if Obama is the nominee.

The battering Hillary has taken from the left and the media has left normal Americans rooting for her. As Rich Lowry has written, she is a more electable candidate now on the brink of dropping out than she was when the nomination was going to be a cake walk. Seeing her vs. the racist America-hater has made many more people want to vote for her. If she were to become the nominee, this fight will have been good for the party, if a Democrat President is what the party wants.

One more thing: Remember Al Sharpton saying he was going to riot and Donna Brazil saying she was going to leave the party if the nomination were decided by superdelegates (when it looked like the supers were backing Hillary)? Now it looks like the nomination will be decided by the supes...for BHO. I wonder if Al & Donna will hold to their promises.

Maybe "just deserts" would be a better phrase than "ironic". Hilly the Hun was an integral part of the strategy to slime the women who were sexually harassed/assaulted by Hilly's husband. She did more than drink the misogynists' Kool-Aid - she helped to make and distribute it through her stooges in the MSM. Where was Ferraro’s outrage then?

To be honest - I would not make too much of Geraldine Ferraro's ramblings. Like the Hun and He Whose Middle Name Must Not Be Mentioned, Ferraro is all ego and entitlement - and no courage. The Kossacks, who have become the Democrat Party's brownshirts, are quite efficient at enforcing loyalty and punishing those who get all uppity and try to leave the Liberal Plantation. Ferraro will fall into line very soon.

Great interview with Laura. So glad you didn't have to try shouting over the opposition like last week. It's refreshing just listening to you speaking truth and wisdom.

Great segment on O'Reilly, Tammy. You covered a lot of territory in a short time. The dialogue between you and Laura was perfect.

Here's hoping a lot of people who needed to hear what you had to say were listening.

Great segment tonight Tammy. I agreed completely with your analysis, though I think Laura got a little nervous when you bragged on Hillary so much. But I agree on that point too. And compared to Obama I'll take a good old-fashioned dirty politician any day of the week. That's what it's come to.

You and Laura should have a show together ... smart, quick, independent thinkers, and most importantly--still looking good.
:o)

I like it when you can make your points unmolested Tammy! Glad you got some time to be on with Laura tonight.

Great segment with Laura on the Factor last night. Laura is funny, too, and I must admit that I roared with laghter when she said, "Let's not get carried away Tammy" at the suggestion of Hillary Clinton possibly 'getting near the White House'. I have caught myself rooting for Hillary, which is unreal to those who know me, but not to win the general~ Only to keep Barry Hussien away from it!!

Either way, even if McCain pulls it off, it is a very frightening time for America. At least McCain wouldn't jack up our taxes as much as the Dems would. Still, I fear the America we have known and loved is about to go bye-bye and it grieves me deeply.
