Eh, whatever.

That's the state count according to Barry Obama. And liberals say McCain is the 3rd Bush! Hahahaha! And hey, it's turning into a Barrypalooza day, and we're still 27 weeks away from the general election.

We all know he doesn't really give a damn about the United States but is it too much to ask him to pretend a little better that he might have a clue about the country? He doesn't mind causing damage by raising taxes. He likes having associations with racist bigots and unrepentant terrorists, and now it's revealed he has no clue how many states are in the union itself. Yeah, that's a man who deserves to sleep where John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK, and Reagan slept. Yep, no difference whatsoever.

If so much weren't at stake, this would be funny.

Barack Obama wants to be president of these 57 United States

In his prepared remarks Obama was ready to start blasting Arizona Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, to show the Illinois Democrat is moving on to the general election campaign.

But first the freshman senator had to go through all the obligatory delighted to see you, delighted to be here part of stump speeches that also require that you actually know where you are.

Obama pulled that off O.K. But then he drifted away from the text a tad, as rookies are wont to do sometimes, forgetting how exhausting this primary process is and should be. And trusting in their instincts, their very tired instincts.

"It is wonderful to be back in Oregon," Obama said. "Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it."

(UPDATE: At a later stop Obama was talking with reporters and expressed concern he'd also mis-stated the number of potential cyclone victims in Burma. He said, "I hope I said 100,000 people the first time instead of 100 million. I understand I said there were 57 states today. It's a sign that my numeracy is getting a little, uh." At that point, an aide cut him off and ushered journalists out. Before he could mis-speak again?)

His numeracy? Numeracy is having "an ability to reason with numbers and other mathematical concepts." It's not not having a firm grip on numerical facts, like the number of states or the number of people killed by a cyclone. At the same time, if he used that word because he's been diagnosed with Innumeracy that would explain why he wants to raise taxes, confiscate oil company profits, and do other various and sundry insane things economically, because he just doesn't comprehend the consequences of such acts.

Whatever his diagnosis, let's guess what the other 7 states are in Barryland:

Guam (a territory)
Canada (another country)
Mexico (a country, more like a big drug cartel)
District of Columbia (a district)
The Bahamas (he visited there, it's sorta close)
Kenya (Gramma lives there but it's not a state)
Michelle Obama (a state, perhaps a world, unto herself)

Any other suggestions about what states he's be in?

Ha! Ambinder got the video and muses about what would have happened had McCain mad that freakish gaffe. And he audience laughs at his 57 states thinking he's kidding. Wow.

B. Hussein Obama probably meant to say that ' his lunacy was getting a little , uh exposed ' . Another state in Barryland is sure to be ' Altered ' , bringing that to 58 states in Barriesland .

I dont understand anything about this man!!, I heard today, that some kids wouldnt stand for the pledge and got suspended from school!! as it should be !! Can you imagine how many students wont do the same if he gets in office!! He doesnt even acknowledge our own flag, It hurts me to know that our country would go in this direction! what happened to the pride of our country and knowing who fought for it, If you dont like it here leave!! but we are American!! Every other country have their own rules and life styles, are we not to have any? we are the only country in the world i know of, that other countries complain if we speak our OWN languge!! I just am at a loss of whats going on!!

He meant to say 70. Fresh off his 7 vote win in Guam, he's probably real excited about the prospects of winning the other 18 Territories of the United States, (plus DC that makes 70).

There's the Johnston Atoll, Wake Island, Palmyra, the Marshalls, American Somoa, Seranilla Banks, Bajo Nuevo, and Navassa. Plus, you got those 5 islands off the Coast of Northern Russia - Wrangel, and the others 4, still claimed by Alaska.

Navassa should be a cinch for Obama. The 2.9 square mile island off the Coast of Haiti, is made up entirely of Guano (Bat Shit.) Easy pick up for him, considering that the Island is completely uninhabited, and his message is essentially all full of crap.

WOW, I think we have another GW on our hands instead of just making up words, makes up extra States...Shouldn't someone who is running for the office of POTUS know? Sorry folks that are quick to defend him, I will give him the same scrutiny in his speeches that we have given others. I have a feeling that with Barry Obama that the scrutiny will be his content/substance rather than his delivery style.
