Gov. Palin has come from nowhere and scared the hell out of the dems…know why? We can relate to her…she’s honest, with integrity and down to earth (plze don’t let her be changed by McCain’s campaign).
As far as the so called snaffoos in the so called interviews let’s redue them with Biden or the Zero, without previous knowledge of questions being asked…not getting the answer to your question the way you want, keep asking the question(Crabby Couric). My question for Biden or Zero is tell me now, what exactly is your executive experience? Their reply “none” and next question is then how is it your qualified to be president or v.p.?
The Gov. will do just fine, I have confidence in her, she is real.

  2. HALEY says:

What is wrong with these journalists/media, etc.? That piece on Barry making McCain “uncomfortable” is ridiculous! I wouldn’t want that lying sack of sh** invading my space either!

    Ps…great picture of “Us” again!

  3. OneShotWataw says:

That wasn’t discomfort – it was a natural reaction to Obama’s disingenuous gesture. It’s a character thing – and Barry just comes up a bit short.

  4. DogOnCrack says:

I’m betting that having Ifill as the “moderator” will backfire against the left like everything else they’ve tried on Palin and actually help her. No one with a conscience can just overlook such a blatantly biased choice. Ifill is going to feel really stupid about writing that book when Barry loses the election.

I second Haley’s post above, and, I LOVE US! Brilliant!

Politico is reporting that the McCain campaign is withdrawing from Michigan!

John McCain is pulling out of Michigan, according to two Republicans, a stunning move a month away from Election Day that indicates the difficulty Republicans are having in finding blue states to put in play.

McCain will go off TV in Michigan, stop dropping mail there and send most of his staff to more competitive states, including Wisconsin, Ohio and Florida. Wisconsin went for Kerry in 2004, Ohio and Florida for Bush.

McCain’s campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Republicans had been bullish on Michigan, hopeful that McCain’s past success in the state in the 2000 primary combined with voter dissatisfaction with Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm and skepticism among blue-collar voters about Barack Obama could make it competitive.

McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin spent the night after the GOP convention at a large rally in Macomb County, just outside Detroit.  The two returned later last month for another sizable event in Grand Rapids.

But recent polls there have shown Obama extending what had been a small lead, with the economic crisis damaging an already sagging GOP brand in a state whose economy is in tatters.

A McCain event planned for next week in Plymouth, Michiigan, has been canceled.

This is bad news all the way around, but especially for the Tammy Peeps (like me) who live in the state!  I hate the idea of waking up on November 5th, knowing that my state contributed electoral votes to BHO!

  7. Mwalimu Daudi says:

It’s not hard to figure out the MSM’s script on tonight’s debate. Concerning the debate itself:

Ifill will not attack Palin directly. Rather, her focus will to make Biden look good by avoiding hard questions that cast Democrats in a bad light. Count on at least one condescending or snotty comment directed at Palin by Ifill, though.

    After the debate:

The official MSM spin will be that Palin had a major “gaffe” and/or that she looked uncomfortable, mean-spirited, confused, and out of her league. During a live debate it is impossible for the MSM to pull off a lie like that, but with creative editing (Hello Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric!) and the absolute cowardice the McCain campaign seems to have adopted recently it will be a piece of cake.

It could actually happen in November – a 57-state landslide for He Whose Middle Name Must Not Be Mentioned.

  8. Ripper says:

Let’s not forget how the Dems refused to debate using Fox’s airwaves because the Daily Kos Krowd threatened them if they did. They are afraid of Fox but want us to believe they can stand up to the poisoned dwarf I’madinnerjacket.

  9. marleed says:

Investigators combing the crash site of Steve Fossett’s plane report finding a small amount of human remains.

Investigators say a small amount of human remains have been found near where Steve Fossett is now believed to have crashed his plane last year.

Investigators say there is enough for a DNA test to confirm the identity of the remains.

Plans are underway to remove the plane wreckage from the mountain by helicopter to an undisclosed location Friday.

It could take up to six months before an investigation can determine what went wrong.

The National Transportation Safety Board has said the plane was “horizontal” when it crashed meaning the plane was not diving or climbing during impact.
