Please, please do not vote for this so-called stimulus package. This will do nothing for our economy and will simply increase the size of our deficit and our Federal Government. Some of the items included in this bill are ridiculous and have nothing to do with economic stimulus. Lower taxes for business and individuals – this will help create jobs and encourage spending. Thank you for your service.
Let’s get over it and look where we’re going, Folks.
We are watching a dictatorship set itself up by furthering a deplorable economic system into deeper debt. And that will be the whip. We’re already witnessing the propaganda. The arbiters of all affairs of state will be the new appointees. Lets hope we can get to and through the next constitutional steps before violence.

Omaha Steaks are some good eating, I recommend it. You want seafood, you go to the coast. You want good beef, you need corn-fed pampered prairie beef, from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa. I live an hour from Omaha, NE. Omaha Steaks has great ham and pork products too.
As to the “Pledge to Obama” – I am horrified, disgusted, outraged, and positively frightened by this.
Again, I assume this does come from The One himself, but his followers are just as dangerous.
The beauty of our country is that, up until now, we did not pledge ourselves to individuals – we pledged allegiance to our country and even if we never technically took a Constitutional oath, I believe that most good Americans would take such an oath – to protect and defend the Constitution. Even in the military – it is the rank that is respected, not the individual and the military does not give allegiance to the President as an individual, but to the Constitution and to the OFFICE of the President. No oath is ever sworn to a particular individual President.
I can only thank God that the area I live in is heavily conservative (there were more Yes on Prop 8 posters than No ones). I seriously doubt that would ever happen in our school district because the wrath of the conservatives would fall upon them heavily, angrily.
I mean, seriously, can we strip these people of their citizenship, ship them to like Iran or North Korea or China and then see how they like that kind of mentality?

Hopey McChange Cranking Up the Heat – The excuses by New York times – “he hates the cold so he cranked up the thermostat “; Axelrod “he’s from Hawaii, ok” (he hasn’t lived in Hawaii since 1979). He made fun of the schools closing in Washington because of the ice storm — “My children’s school was canceled today,” Obama said, speaking to reporters before a meeting with business leaders. “Because of what? Some ice? . . . We’re going to have to apply some flinty Chicago toughness to this town.” Doesn’t this imply he’s used to the cold? He takes his jacket off and turns up the heat…. put your suit jacket back on you moron – you’re in the Oval Office!
I sent the following email to both my senators:
I’m asking you not to vote for the economic stimulus package. I do not want to have my tax dollars put toward some of the items in this bill in the name of stimulus. For example, $50 million for the NEA, $650 million for the digital TV conversion, etc. This is not what the federal government should be responsible for and will do nothing for the economy other than to put us deeper in debt.
I now need to find the names of the 11 brave Dems that voted “nay” on this atrocious piece of crap
and sent a heart felt thank you. I’m serious, we
should all reach out when they do the right thing
and support them…..loudly. We should also keep
tabs on how Nasty Peloci will “punish” them and
shine the light on that too. All Dems can’t be crazy.
