Tammy, sending kneepads to Gregg would make Chris Matthews extremely jealous.
It’s already pretty darn crowded underneath that desk.
The Commerce job isn’t much of a job, which I guess is the reason BO offered it to Gregg. I’m sure it was also a way to eliminate a Republican senator stupid enough to take it while at the same time increasing the Democrats power in Congress.
Judd Gregg claims in the article that he is a “fiscal conservative”. So why didn’t he vote against the stimulus rather than not vote at all? Tammy’s right, the 3 Reps that voted for it are traitors, Gregg is a coward. Gregg will not seek re-election in 2012. Good call senator.
By the way, Tammy, I want you to know I’ve been sending emails to my senators and representative here in Florida. I will continue to do so.
I’d be hard pressed to deny that I’ve deserved egg on my face in politics because of compromise on at least one occasion.
Considering that, I can only reflect on how Gregg must have viewed the willing traitorism of the Three Harlots of Hell and the compromise he caught himself in.
It’s over. They’re done. Let’s all learn from it and keep in mind that good will in the Potomac Swamp is only a dream.
Anyway. Remember the campaign funding? That was another trap the GOP walked into – eyes wide shut.
If anyone really believes there’s any virtue in O’Bama; Treasury, Ayres, Rezko, Wright, his papa and mama; then buy a bridge.
The worst news of the day, was the tragic plane crash in upstate New York. The passage of the crap sand, pretty bad news too. But, for me the most irksome news was an item in Politico that analyzed B.O.’s style and determined that he does better on the road campaigning for his “change” menu: “Officials say that although Obama won’t necessarily travel every week …. he will continue to be out of the White House a lot. ‘He feels best, he is at his best, and our agenda is the most popular and at its best when it’s getting sold by the popular in the administration and the person who connects with voters,’ one official said.” (I always wonder the identity of these “officials.”) Our very own ongoing horror movie: Chairman O and the Campaign that Would Not Die.
I would welcome podcasts of the show, $5 per month or $50 for the year? I use a digital recorder now, so don’t miss any of the show if I’m in meetings. I can also cut the speaker sound when some zombie enters my office.
On the census – finally, the Republicans are noticing? Someone please point out the Socialized Medicine portion of the crap sandwich. Do all of them have ADD – someone give them the drugs before we move beyond France directly to Russia!
