  1. Ripper says:

God those two Maine broads are so annoying!

  2. Shawmut says:

Somehow, I don’t care what Snowe or Collins says now. What can they say? It’s what they did.

  3. HALEY says:

Oh my God! Is there anything else we can get for The Messiah on his trip to Denver? Is there anything we can do for The Messiah to make his trip any more lavish? Maybe a few styrofoam pillars would help glorify the holy signing of the “historic economic stimulus bill”?

Ah, how the Left Elite spend their days.

  4. Ripper says:

Which state has the two worst Senators?

    1. California – Boxer and Feinsteinn
    2. Maine – Snowe and Collins
    3. Vermont – Leahy and Sanders
    4. Massachusetts – Kennedy and Kerry
    5. Pennsylvania – Specter and Casey

My pick is Vermont followed by California

  5. jerocat says:

The guillotines crack me up. Thanks Tammy :-)))

  6. jerocat says:

In exchange for their pivotal votes, Snowe, Collins and Specter have been offered first dibs on the maiden voyage of the Chairman Obama’s Death Star, now under construction.

  7. jc says:

I wrote both of them on Saturday, challenging them to respond to my email. Not that I was expecting one.

I did receive a “form email response” from Sen. Collins and zilch from Snowe.

Both of them are, in my opinion, political poltroons.

  8. ffigtree says:

Compromise? COMPROMISE! Since when does compromise mean giving up your morals and values?

  9. CinderellaMan says:

Off topic a bit, but I have to post on the nature of Barack Obama’s speech today in Denver. Pardon me for being a bit incredulous, but consider the following:

    1. “I would like to introduce the best Vice-President we’ve had in years, Joe Biden”.
Could the newly-inaugurated president have been any more sarcastic, insulting, or classless?
Dick Cheney has been a gentleman and a scholor, and with the utmost character.

    2. Isn’t it a bit disingenuous complaining of being handed a trllion dollar deficit, when you are signing into law another trillion in amounts to many billions in needless and unecessary spending, all while you call for economic discipline?

  10. Shawmut says:

Cindy’Man. Don’t you see? He’s setting up every excuse for his failures – or as he would refer to them “Distractions”. This way he can continue to run against George Bush and any Republicans that don’t go his way – a one way street decidied by whatever direction he’s going. Remember, he’s not the first demagogue to dig up enemies for the sake of kicking people who can’t kick back. Very popular game in the 30′s in Europe.
He can even go back and spit on Clinton when it suits him.
The guy is a walking quartet: two faces speaking out both sides of his mouth on each.
But se better get set for a rough re-take of the Congress and, maybe, even the Presidency in 12′.
It will be a tough job as he annexes to his political apparatus so much of his administration (Read: our government).
I’d say his models are not so much Lincoln or Kennedy, but Chavez, Castro and Mussolini.
I noticed on the “T” today an ad for University of Massachusetts. Whose image do you think is shown as suggesting success through education for this State University? Yup: Barry O’Bama himself in a cap and gown. Sickening to rot!

    Shawmut:
I think Dylan must have been writing about The Messiah:

    “While some on principles baptized
    To strict party platform ties
    Social clubs in drag disguise
    Outsiders they can freely criticize
Tell nothing except who to idolize
And then say God bless him.”

    - “It’s All Right Mama ( I’m only bleeding)

  12. CNYTammyFan says:

Doesn’t Collins sound like the female version of Al Gore when she talks? Snowe reminds me of Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg, maybe cousins? Spector is shot.
I want to hear from Steele now on the these three.
If we Conservatives are going to cleanse the party
we know where to start. Today was either the beginning of the end or the start of a new beginning. God help us!!

  14. Miss Kathy says:

Regarding Ripper’s list of worst state senators. . .how ’bout Stabenow & Levin from the only state which every one of us in Tammy-Land has a map on their very own body. . .Michigan!! These long-term senators and our 2nd-term governor haven’t done a heck of a lot of good for our beloved mitten state. Michigan’s been in an “economic slump” a lot longer than the rest of y’all. Of course, maybe that reflects more on the ineptness of our state legislature. . .

  15. Shawmut says:

Citing Kennedy and Kerry as two of the most pious of frauds in the US Senate, Massachusetts also has a total Democratic delegation to the House; and both houses of the General Court; the Legislature, and the Constitutional officers.
Now, understand me, this is not surprising.
Republicans identify themselves by quickly adding, “I’m more libertarian” as a social cover-all.
I’ve seen it from the inside of the GOP, as a minority within a minority party, and it’s disgusting. New York Republicans seem to be our voices.
