One question, dumb ass, er, Louis: where was the owner? Smart enough not to get arrested? Now YOU are in da house–the big house–STUPID! And you say we need to “shift the blame” from the owners to the to the banks? This guy is a real brain.
The ACORN zombie on the Stuart Varney video had a Freudian slip when she said “I wish we could force the banks to our will!”
Lord, Tammy, I’m halfway through “Atlas Shrugged” and I’m ready to declare Ayn Rand a prophet. The book is being played out all around us.
I wonder about Stuart Varney’s statement that there was “predatory lending”, though. According to the video I saw on the “Community Reinvestment Act”, it seems that the government held a gun to the bank’s heads and forced them to make these loans, or be declared “discriminatory” (with help from attorneys like BO, btw).
Let me get this straight: a satellite meant to study global warming lands in Antarctica; global warming spazoids say California is drying up and then suddenly it’s raining like springtime in Florida; I think the Big Guy really is making a statement here.
Drug testing for welfare recipients: Craig Blair says the money they save on cut-off welfare benefits will pay for the drug tests. What’s the assumption he’s making here? That a lot of people on welfare are drug addicts? And that they may be using welfare to support their habits? Say it isn’t so!
So 900 million of our tax dollars will be given to Israel’s enemies (and ours)—but it’s okay!—the money won’t be channeled through Hamas. Good God, that’s a relief!
I have to wonder what the Israelis think of the BO Administration right now.
Also, 1,300 dead compared to 13 dead Israelis. I think the Big Guy might be making a statement here too.
I am overwhelmed and amazed at how fast all of this “stuff”, that we knew Obama was going to do, is happening. The huge amount of deficit spending for social programs, releasing terrorists – closing Gitmo, mortgage bailout, auto bailout, bank bailout, nationalizing health care, and funding Hamas under the veil of rebuilding Gaza??!!! And — more funding for ACORN so he can get elected again. He has been in office only 36 days – how much worse can this get?
No longer is the individual to blame let alone be held accountable (unless one is a conservative!). Banks now have fallen victim to the vilification machine.
I started reading Atlas Shrugged then Barkey happened! LOL The book is coming to life right before my eyes!

I just ordered “Atlas Shrugged” so I can read ahead to see what’s going to happen next. :)
The temerity of the lady from ACORN is striking. She says the homeowners are “paying their bills” as if the cognitive dissonance with “they’re being foreclosed on” won’t register with most people. She must really think we’re all stupid. I’m convinced that Obama does. The way he’s treated the public since he’s campaigned for office shows that he has little respect for the people. I imagine he pities us. We’re so busy and distracted we can’t pay attention to a coherent argument. Rather than try to make it possible to engage people in a reasonable discussion he leads the public along like a cow with a ring up its nose. This strategy has definitely worked. I know his approval rating has dropped, but he managed to get elected using this strategy. I think the drop is due to the conservatives who had good will for him leaving him. There are some conservative Democrats who have been disappointed in the way Obama handled the so-called stimulus bill as well, particularly the move the Democrats in the House made at the end where no one was allowed a reasonable amount of time to read the bill before voting on it. I think they were taken aback by how large it was.
