I guess he likes it in there.
Barkey WaPo Opinion Piece: Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear. Do as I say. Fear. Sky falling. Fear. Call me a goof, but I still can’t figure out how giving needles to drug addicts, buying new cars for federal employees, and paying 65% of everyone’s COBRA health insurance is gonna save anyone’s job or shore up the economy.
Senate Stimulus: 300,000 Jobs for Illegals?
Whoa! The Great Communicator is suddenly not so great. But don’t worry, Politico is making a lot of excuses for him. Including blaming the White House, the actually literal physicality of the White House, for screwing him up.

Salon: Obama is failing because Republicans have lied, lied LIED to people for 30 years about the role of government. Like, it’s supposed to be your Daddy but no one understands that yet, because of evil, evil EVIL lying Republicans who have fooled people into thinking that low taxes, small government of personal freedom were more important than Big Government Sugar Daddy.

“Why is this happening…Is this going to be forever?” I couldn’t have put it better myself. Insight from Nitrous-Oxide Kid, right after the dentist.
I made the mistake of reading some of the comments for Barky’s latest lying, rant. It’s amazing that people can be so uninformed (I wanted to say STUPID). The glow continues but, it’s fading.
Propaganda and BS and Barkey – This guy is a pathological liar! He can’t help but lie, manipulate, seduce. Sleazy, slimey, creepy, controlling. Anyone with the ability to research and read can see that everything about the bill in question is a lie, from the name of it, to the intention. But, there are many people in this country who do not read and research, for one reason or another (many of them valid reasons) and they depend on, they trust America to speak the truth, to be honest, to tell them the truth. And this snake oil salesman, fueled by his own sick pathology and need to be “great,” perpetuates a monstrous lie, which gives more fear, more worry, more stress to an already stressed out populace. He, Pelosi and the gang – they are criminal in every respect of the word.
I hear you, Palin2012. I can’t even bare to read the Left’s comments. The kool-aid drinkers (a.k.a. Barkey Supporters) don’t have a clue. I believe a few have woken up, only a few, but there are still many that haven’t. They’re not even worried about national security for heaven’s sake, let alone the economy, gun control, and just the general, constant irresponsibility of Barkey’s bad decision making all together. Seriously, this is the most irresponsible and un-Constitutional administration I’ve ever seen, and Barkey’s supporters just don’t get it. They think everything is going to be just fine in the trusted hands of The One. Yeah right.
Ps…I knew the Left was going to start crying and whining that Barkey is a “victim of the Republicans” sooner or later. We will hear much more of this “victim” crap over the next 4 years to come. Ugh.
Yeh, sure, Republicans HAVE lied. ;) Just read that inconvenient U.S.Constitution, which is a formal document defining the republican philosophy. If you want to know the definition of republicanism, read the Constitution. It was written by a pack of republican thinking liars. THE US CONSTITUTION IS A REPUBLICAN DOCUMENT.
Liberal, neo-Socialist Boston is all wound up over the stimulus package: “Anita Walker, executive director of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, saying the funding is a vital component in helping to support 37,000 Bay State jobs in what she calls the “creative economy.” (Bostn Globe)
“Creative Economy”?
As opposed to history of US capitalism: Creating Wealth.
Take these 37,000 people and spread them across the country to other settings that were sold on Baraq’s ‘hope’ for sweat’nswear jobs; those jobs that get one by.
Even Potemkin would be embarassed by these Ms’ Walkers’.
Barkey’s administration will be so terrible that this country will be desperate for anyone other than him in 2012.
There’s only one politician in America who has the will and the courage to clean up the corruption in Washington and we all know who it is.

On the coffee, because it’s important to some of us :). The Eight O’clock is good if you buy already ground. If you buy the beans – Starbucks. Millstone beans if you’re desperate and there is no Starbucks.
Ok, I’m commenting for the 3rd time – I’m going nuts today. CHRISL, you’re absolutely right when you say that the Constitution is a Republican document. And another thing I don’t get with the Left is that they were all in a big tizzy when Bush started his panic-stricken socialist bailout crap before the elections. They were totally against it yet they oh-so-passionately voted for Barkey which was clearly more socialism and more bailouts a 100 times what Bush had started. I guess that’s just the way the Left is.
I like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, but strong, sweet coffee lovers must try Louisiana’s Community Coffee. I was reared on it.
They have good tea too.
As far as developing a crush on Sarah, my mantra of “Don’t fall for straight women” doesn’t seem to be working…
This normally isn’t like me, but I cannot stomach reading through Obama’s toilet paper expo in the WaPo. I’m sitting in my office as of this moment just 20 min. away from teaching economics, and I am trying to keep my Tourette’s Syndrome in check.
I’ve read elsewhere that Odumbass is calling the Republican plan a failed ‘theory’. Uh, no you effing moron! The theory you, Odumbass, subscribe to has done nothing but fail entire nations, diminish the quality of life and standard of living for millions, kills businesses & ultimately, human beings, and there’s an entire history to prove it! You only got where you are because you depended on the complete stupidity and gullibility of your supporters, and now you expect the rest of us to just take it. Odumbass, get a reality check because you have another thing coming!
Here’s to you, Effing Fuhrer: ..!.
OK – I feel a bit better now. It’s only temporary though.
About the Nitrous-Oxide kid:
What a great kid and it sounds like a pretty good dad too. I had more to say about the theft of his future by the globalists, but I’m so worn out from arguing and worrying I think I’ll just leave it at that.
Stimulus?!!! They plan on giving a $7500.00 credit to new homebuyers to facilitate their ability to purchase a house they could otherwise not afford. And they still have to pay it back within 15 years.
Uh, how is this any different than what Franklin Raines and Barney Frank did with Fannie Mae? Isn’t this what started this awful mess?
My sentiments exactly: “Why is this happening…Is this going to be forever?”
ARTGAL: I think we may have found a new word for The One… â€Odumbass†LOL But I don’t think Tammy can say that on the air.
Haley: I agree. We will hear much more of the “victim crap”. I think Ann Coulter just wrote a book on that very subject.
…back to reading…lots of good posts today. Thank you Tammy, Maynard, and Pat.
Random Thoughts:
Pics of Obama’s face. Appropo… two faced.
Is it my imagination, but here we are, some 15 days past the inauguration, and doesn’t Obama’s tone sound a bit dictatorial? A “catastrophy”? Yeah, that’ll stimulate world confidence.
Off topic. All thoughts and prayers out to Ruth Bater Ginsberg. Oh how I wish this dreaded disease would be cured. My wife is a cancer survivor… it can be beaten.
In 10 years there will be 30 million new hispanics in the US, most of them illegal. Tell me this isn’t the plan of the left to guarantee their election.
What became of the 5 BILLION(!!!) payoff in the “stimulus” bill for ACORN? How in the name of God can this be justified?
We have much to fear… Reid, Pelosi, Durban, Rangel, Frank, Dodd, Murtha…et. al., are in full control, with the final arbiter being a far-left socialistic black man with an attitude. Wonderful.
Re: Senate Stimulus: 300,000 Jobs for Illegals? But out of those millions of unemployed Americans, “skilled workers†and “while males†need not apply… http://tinyurl.com/b9zuqq
Glad to see the words “pathological liar” above in NS’s comments. It’s exactly what I was thinking about the Fraud-in-Chief.
Today at around noon on TV from the Dept. of Energy I heard the big liar say,
Americans are under “the tyranny of oil.”
We’ve morphed from being “addicted to foreign oil” to being under “the tyranny of oil.” That means we are all victims of the people who supply us with oil including Americans working in the oil sector. We need it and, have paid with blood and treasure to have it. True for a lot of things including life, liberty and private property.
After he and the Dems render the US Dollar worthless (by inflation) a loaf of bread may force us to pause and decide whether we can afford it. It will the tyranny of those greedy farmers.
Obama’s strategy: rally the victims in a power grab where his government will tax the greedy or force them by regulations into bankruptcy and seize their assets. If you want to get racist about it remember, the greedy ones are all “rich white people.” Throw in a few Jews too. They always seem to be on the scene where there is wealth. Remember too, vengeance is the flip side of hope.
Here’s the emotional sequence people:
1. Crisis (a world in decay)
2. Capitulation, Depression, Despair
3. Hope (and its flip side, vengeance)
4. Relief (as in a government job or welfare)
5. Recovery (is always just around the corner.)
A hopeful victim or a vengeful victim, which kind are you?
What about your neighbor?
Rich white people are already the targets.
You’ve heard the speeches by his closest friends.
If you’re friends with Louis Farrakhan, don’t forget about the Jooz.
In the end their are only two classes, the middle class and the ruling class.
In the end their are no politics because there are no arguments.
Remember all the names they called George W. Bush,
liar and NAZI.
Now observe! They were just being armchair critics. Now they’ll show you how its really done.

PS
On the emotional sequence I left out
OPTIMISM.
Optimism is three notches up from hope.
Optimism is born of confidence in our US Constitution, in a free and unencumbered economy where people act voluntarily and in their own best interest and with mutual respect.
The flip side of optimism is pessimism.
Pessimism is merely doubt and skepticism.
When do doubt and skepticism lead to violence?
Never.
The vengeance of victimhood is the political currency of Barak Hussein Obama.
When does revenge lead to violence?
Vengeance is a leading cause of violence.
“Why is this happening…Is this going to be forever?”
Truer words were never spoken, David! I so feel like him — we have the Obama Countdown on Tammy’s site — thanks, Tammy!
Continual girding taking place….
I was intrigued by the premise of Joan Walsh’s column. I think she makes a few good points, but otherwise she doesn’t offer anything except “pass this bill”. Why? I was hoping for more than that from her. She ascribes everything that was good about the period of 1945 to the 1970s to The New Deal, and she thinks if we had only kept with it we’d have a thriving middle class. She wants another version of that.
She apparently doesn’t remember that The New Deal prolonged the Great Depression. It was the Keynesian economics that the FDR Administration and subsequent administrations used which worked for a while when the rest of the developed world went to hell in WW II, but it drove our economy into the ditch in the early 1970s, when we entered a changed world. She also doesn’t realize that before the economic collapse we were already headed for a trainwreck with Social Security and Medicare. One from The New Deal, and one from The Great Society. That still hasn’t changed.
Most of this so-called “stimulus” is massive funding for government programs, some of which I like, but this is way too much for everything else. One reason the bill is losing support is people are astonished by the price tag. They should be. What they may also detect is they’re being had, and the Democrats are trotting out the same tactic they’ve used with the alarm about global warming: We must act fast to avoid disaster. The stimulus is the “dessert” in the bill, not the main course. The Democrats are hoping that while everyone’s worried about the economy they can instantly reassert the new New Deal under a disguise. Once this spending level is established the Democrats will not allow it to be cut sufficiently to re-establish old spending levels. It will become the new baseline. If they succeed we can look forward to quick bankruptcy.
Sorry, but the best coffee beans for the best price are from Trader Joe’s.
I go to the one in Ann Arbor, MI……….you just have to tolerate all the prozak/potheads. Of course now they have their own orgasmatron, President Obama.
