This is the message I sent to my Congressman in Central Illinois – both times the House voted on the sandwich:
Congressman Johnson; 02/14/2009;
Congratulations on another vote against the socialist blitzkrieg, and congrats also to all of your Republican colleagues in the house. I hope that this will go down in political history as a kind of Dunkirk in the coming political war to ward off that which threatens to be nothing less than a revolutionary assault on what W. Churchill called the “Great Republic”. This battle was lost, but it portends at least the intent of the Republicans to make a stand against the leftist Democrat leadership’s attempt to cripple the private sector and to dismantle the constitutional protections of American liberties. I hope we will find ways to encourage the Dems who voted correctly today, and to coopt more of them in the future.

Nice Valentine Tammy sent to the Catholic Church last night, every Anti-Catholic Left Wing Cliche flew out of her mouth at warp speed. What’s with the Born Again Left Coast Leftists Like Dennis Miller, Savage and Bruce that can’t get over their animus towards Catholics? In this regard they are exactly like those that they purport to despise.
Well, I’d actually take Jeb Bush ANYDAY over what we have now.
