I addressed extensively on the air Meghan McCain’s article attacking Ann Coulter on the rather liberal Daily Beast website. I will have a Fox Forum column addressing the issue. Having had dinner with both women and knowing them a bit, I do have a sense of why Meghan would do this and will extrapolate on that in the column.

memo to Maghan McCain
The problem with the GOP (Dead Old Party is actuality) is not Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, or the “religious right” – it is with candidates such as her father John McCain, George W. Bush, Miss Lindsey Graham, Trent Lott, Arlene Sepcter, Andrew Sullivan, Peggy Noonan, David Frum, Kathleen Parker, Christopher Buckley, David Brooks, Lincoln Chafee, the Maine Twins. Good to see that Meghan voted for John Kerry (so much for her being a Republican) and feels she is in a position to lecture us.
Perhaps Menendez is becoming aware of the reasons he’s not a Cuban, but of Cuban ancenstorship; why his elders came here.
But, will he be mollified? Or will he obediently return to the fold of the Baraqista’s.
Oh, on Caroline: I appreciate your ardor. But think: Teddy, Patches, Joe the Ambassador and Chavez chum, Joe the Third, The Late David, Dr. Willy. Typically; one vote from you and they do as they damn well please.

I am a New Yorker and I would vote for my incompetent mailman before I would vote for Caroline Kennedy (or any other Kennedy for that matter).
The Boston Globe story is an obvious plant from either the GOP or the RNC. Mitt Romney will be the candidate for POTUS in 2012. It doesn’t matter what us rubes out here in America think or want. If the GOP wants our opinion they will give it to us. The sales job has begun. By the time the election roles around, Mitt will be the reincarnation of Ronald Reagan…except, of course he isn’t! He’s a RINO! And that is exactly what the RNC and the GOP want. Forget Sarah Palin! She is an ignorant Rube to these people and…gasp…a conservative! They cannot have that!!!
Right now Jim DeMint of South Carolina is my candidate. For all the Palin boosters out there – how certain are you that she really is a conservative. I am not into the purity of losing. Mitt would have made a far superior candidate to both McCain and a better POTUS then Obambi. Not certain that Palin can beat the 3-headed onster – Obambi, the MSM, and the Popular Culture.
According to Ms. Meghan, I’m an†extremist†member of the “Republican” Party but I’m FAR from “dying offâ€. She just doesn’t get it, does she. Perhaps she ought to actually READ Ann’s books. Oh, wait…she wouldn’t understand!
Republicans have been acting like Democrats…that’s the problem.
