Re: Spector, I hate to see what a filibuster proof senate will do. So much for the Republicans thinking they aren’t liberal enough on social issues. If the Repub. party is going to be relevent, the rinos need to be challenged in primarys, expelled and replaced by real Republicans.
Re: Fly-by, It looks like the WH notified the NYC coordinator of city-wide events 7 days prior. FBI, DHS, and NYPD were also notified separately. They have a list of contact names. Bloomberg’s boobs just didn’t see the need to put out an item for the news, radio, & papers.
When a man can’t be relied on to be loyal to those who kept him in office, he is useless to either side. In addition to issues of loyalty, what does it say about his integrity? When a man accepts all kinds of assistance to hold his place and then flips these supporters the bird in only a short time, what does it say about his character?
Now, let’s go further, what does it say about those who welcome him into their ranks and celebrate his tarnished integrity and character and sense of loyalty? Thus defines them.

What’s so weird, Tammy, is that I am a Democrat and you used to be a Democrat and I think we’re in agreement the current DNC is very much something else (socialism with an organized crime core, a twist of communism and a good dose of facism). I wish someone would ask Senator Spector what his definition of a Democrat is that he feels compelled to switch parties at this particular moment instead becoming an Independent. (I think the operative phrase here is, “Whore for hire.”)

Watching that video of the AF1 fly over gave me that overwhelming sense of dread I felt watching the live coverage on 9-11. I can only imagine what NYC inhabitants must have felt. If the Obama admin can prosecute members of the Bush admin for waterboarding and employing “scary insects” against enemy combatants what should be the fate of those in the Urkel admin for terrorizing US citizens in NYC? Unbelievable … well, not really.

I do not believe this f(rea)k was completely unaware of his plane being taken out for a joyride. Sorry, but I can totally see him in his office laughing about terrorizing thousands in the streets of NYC. The fact the mayor was not even informed is just outrageous – let alone the people having no idea this was taking place & were scared to death. Hell, anything could have happened to the people on the streets – accidents as people were driving & seeing this low flying plane, people having health problems – you name it.
Does it make sense that Obama’s plane was being used for a PR campaign? This is ridiculous! What sort of PR campaign could possibly warrant Air Force One over lower Manhattan at a very low altitude? C’mon! There is something even more f(rea)ked up than we are being told.
Between our open border w/ the ‘pandemic’ of the Napolitano Flu and all the completely indefensible and unnecessary dumbass drama from the White House, we may as well face the fact that we are completely on our own in all of this. We do not have a president leading or protecting us. He’s too busy contemplating his next crises so all the attention is on him, him, him – I’m telling you, it’s lesbian drama.

So yes, there is something more sinister at play here. The idea the feds were basically strong-arming the NYPD & city officials into silence about this matter is very disturbing to say the least. Since when – in our lifetime – have we heard of the feds threatening to sanction a state for chrissakes? Wow – we’ll open up a relationship w/ Cuba & drop sanctions, but put one on NY? What’s the fed going to do – stop travel to NYC? Or hey, maybe they’ll stick Gitmo detainees there! Uneffing real!
These people are not fit to run this country. I don’t care what the election results were. This is just a first step toward other states being strong-armed at Odumbf(rea)k’s will. Maybe it’s the feds way of keeping states from becoming unruly and too independent. Maybe the tea parties are making them a little paranoid. Good!

I think the reason for the photo shoot was to get pics of AF1 without the twin towers in the background. Just about every older pic you see of NYC has the Statue of Liberty, and the towers in the frame. I guess blowing $360,000 is better than photoshop. When they finally build a new structure, they can do another photo shoot.
I’m suspicious of the ultra secret military escort buzzing of the statue of liberty for a mere photo op. Could Obama’s wife and kids, friends and family, or cronies been onboard partying it up? I’d like a flight manifest of all who were on that plane.
Now that the 1st flu fatality was a 2yr old boy, little has been mentioned that he and his family were illegals. The conspiracy theorists are ranting that this new flu is an engineered bioweapon targeted at Hispanics… what a crock! Also not mentioned is that 2008 deaths from “normal” flu exceeded 30,000
Watching that clip of Air Force One buzzing lower Manhattan outrages me. A co-worker spoke to one of her friends who had just gotten off the Subway when that happened. She ran back down the stairs along with a stream of other people looking for shelter. They were literally falling over each other in fear.
Imagine if the previous administration had done something this stupid and GWB had the gall to say he “didn’t know about it”. All you’d hear about is how he was either full of it or a clueless buffoon, depending on what tact the media decided to run with that day.
However, when The One does something patently stupid, he gets free pass after free pass. Surprise!
You know, I’ve traveled and stayed in Mexico on many occasion and I have to say the entire country is a dump and choking smog pit! They better learn to shut their mouth up about the United States because 90% of that country is nothing but a bunch of thieves. I mean, c’mon, they haven’t even learned how to purify their own water supplies yet! Idiots!
