UK PM Brown. The compulsion to confess?
The 16 barred from UK (HT Pat S.)
Should people be barred from the UK? This comment page is priceless and show how how many people, around the world, are appalled at the action.
As Elizabeth Edwards bizarrely pitches her book about “Resilience” her husband Acknowledges Feds Investigating His Campaign Cash
A Closer Look at Amazon’s Big-Screen Kindle DX
Stay classy Mitt. For some reason he thinks it’s a good idea to cozy up to the sewer pipe of congress and slam Palin as just a pretty face. The RNC must be getting pretty darn desperate. Or maybe they’ve had too much tea?
She(Elizabeth) wanted the prestige of being the First Lady, all that power that goes with it. I am sure there are many political spouses are in the same position. Just look at Bill Clinton a classic example of being intoxicated by all that power. Wide eyed drunk on power.
The thing that bothered me during the campaign was when Elizabeth Edwards called into “Hardball” and confronted Ann Coulter about the stuff she was saying about John. Basically, Elizabeth acted like she was John’s mommy and had to go tell mean widdle Ann to not make fun of him, instead of John having the cajones to stand up to her in return. And this was probably when John was cheating on her and she knew it. So not only is Elizabeth his mommy, but like you just said, Tammy, she’s a cuckold who doesn’t have self-esteem and will always protect the man who treats her like garbage.
As far as Elizabeth Edwards goes, she’s just looking to hold on to what she’s got. Frankly what she’s got is pretty sorry.
As to Sarah Palin; the perceived danger she presents to the Democrat establishment is shown by the energy expended on her destruction. She is fighting a raft of frivolus ethics charges filed by both Democrats and Republicans with the aim of breaking her, if not psychologically, financially.
A lot of Democrats and some republicans look on her as the most dangerous woman in America. To me that means she is the most promissing woman in America politically.
I think Elizabeth is still milking the power spigot with her book. If I had a family disaster such as they have had, I would drop back, punt, and huddle with my family and nurture, nurture, nurture and rebuild. Her book cannot be easy for her kids. Elizabeth, self-esteem issues or not, is a power addict and a narscissist. What is ruining our country are the NPD’s (narscissistic personality disorder) running the country. The first breath of fresh air in years comes from regular folk leading the tea parties. I am so sick of the elitest, all-about-me politicos that are crowding the top tiers!
I’ve read two of Savage’s books, and while I don’t agree with everything he says on the air, I find his written word very carefully and thoughtfully considered.
Being banned from the UK brings back thoughts of Oriana Fallaci… this is fascist, not socialist. Is this where Eurosocialism has gone?
Freedom of speech is under attack right here in America as well. When Homeland Security targets veterans, and categorizes certain people as “right-wing extremists”, and when the democratic party proposes to stifle talk radio by demanding governmentally controlled equivalency in what we listen to, believe it, you are being silenced.
I am a devout Roman Catholic who happens to believe in the sanctity of life and the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman. Does that make me a right-wing extremist? For God’s Sake, I am being allowed to write this on a website managed by a gay woman who happens to be pro-choice, but with similar beliefs as I have on gay marriage ( in fact, it is Tammy’s writings from which I have drawn heavily to formulate my opinions… I encourage others to read her positions elsewhere archived on this site. I personally have learned a great deal from her very special vantage point). Is this not the basis for open dialogue? What’s next, ban me from writing here? Investigate me for potential right-wing extremism?
Why is Michael Savage punished? For posting videos of the beheading of Nick Berg and Daniel Pearl? Hey, I couldn’t bring myself to click on it, but I do believe in his position to show the nature of our enemy.
Or was it his writings regarding the ACLU’s support provided to NAMBLA ( North American Man-Boy Love Association ) members for the rape, torture, and murder of a teen boy. The ACLU provided over 2 million dollars in legal support. Want to see news of the world that dramatically affects us all, I would encourage a visit to Dr. Savage’s website: http://tinyurl.com/5wwjt
Thank God that Savage and others are allowed to publish their views in an unfettered and unedited framework.
A lot of women “look the other way”. In doing so, Edward’s ego trumped her obligation to protect America’s best interests. THAT is what she needs to be held accountable for. Her decision to write this book and give controlled interviews is ridiculous. Rather than becoming a media whore she should be privately working on her demons. Elizabeth Edwards is indeed a victim but the perpetrator is herself.
You may have already seen this response from http://www.Conservatives4Palin.com to Romney’s comments since it’s been on Chris Matthews and Bill O’Reilly not to mention Politico and the Weekly Standard websites, but here ya’ go:
http://www.conservatives4palin.com/2009/05/theres-bore-in-woods.html
A conflation of the old Reagan ad “There’s a Bear in the Woods” with last year’s Romney ad and including a special surprise ending.
They call it, “There’s a Bore in the Woods.”
Enjoy.

Gordon Brown is an Old Labour would-be tyrant surrounded by corruption…I could’ve told you that ten years ago. He’ll be gone in less than a year: the only question is whether it’s at the polls, or whether he’s taken out before then by other Labour MP’s in a leadership contest out of a sense of self-preservation. Good riddance regardless.
