During the Special Report with Bret Baier post-show discussion on sronline, Major Garrett reported that the White House has released a statement about the Little Rock shootings, but only to Arkansas news outlets—if they ask for one. According to Garrett, the White House didn’t think there was much interest in the story otherwise. That is probably true about most of the media, but not an excuse and the White House darn well knows it.

Washington, DC – The White House issued a statement Wednesday by President Barack Obama
“I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe. I would like to wish Quinton Ezeagwula a speedy recovery, and to offer my condolences and prayers to William Long’s family as they mourn the loss of their son.â€
We know how quickly Obama rushed to make a statement about Dr. Tiller’s death. He also made a point to speak about the Binghamton shootings back in April. He was in Baden-Baden at the time. Michelle Obama is supposedly making military families one of her big First Lady causes.
This is an outrageous insult to our men and women in uniform not to mention a complete assault on our intelligence. The military and the American people are stepped on and insulted because The One wants to make a big splash in the Middle East.
As usual, Urkel is a day late and a dollar short in his comments about the death of William Long. This gives more credence to the theories of Tammy and others that he despises this country along with the men and women who serve it proudly.
Tammy, Thanks for putting up the picture of Pvt. William Long. I went to the net just after O’Man’s Speech to his new idolators. I look at that kid’s face and project how much he has given; and how much he had yet to give.
Well, the kid didn’t have to hear his Commander-in-Chief extol the virtues of his enemies or belittle the country he died serving (on the home front). He didn’t hear history being embellished to enhance his enemies integrity while denigrating the efforts of his comrades for executing a war “of choice”.
He didn’t have to hear that no country should impose governments on other countries (in the way all of Islam expanded) or that his country has never taken other lands (as Islam has).
And, Private William Long won’t have to hear some of his countrymen extol in saccharine terms the mendacious oration of their Caliph.
Private Long died for a country, whose ideals, laws and history he believed in. His Commander-in-Chief spoke with his usual contempt for the same country whose ideals he would compromise, whose laws he would dictate by executive orders and czars, and whose unique and noble history he would condemn.
Private Long, whatever your religous tradition may have been, tomorrow is First Friday, I’ll go to Mass (An old Roman Catholic tradition), because you chose to serve a country to preserve that freedom I exercise. You will be among my prayers with special concern.
I would not be able to do that in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, and it would be a risk to do so in Egypt, Yemen, The Emirates, Bangladesh, Somalia, Sudan, Indonesia and other Islamic ‘cultures’. Your Commander-in-Chief sees that culture as something romantic. And he’s seeking the adoration of, not the old men smoking hookahs, but young Islamics who, if they’re not indulging in oil royallties (and most aren’t) have already made their commitment to jihad. He might just check the age-groups of violent jihadists.
At ease, Private Long, your mission is done. Time for “Taps”. A grateful nation honors you, even though it’s Commander in Chief doesn’t.

How absolutely arrogant of him to unilaterally decree that the United States supports a 2-state solution. I’m an American, and a Roman Catholic, not a Jew, and I do not support a 2-state solution.
No, the West Bank and Gaza Strip have been illegally occupied by Arabs claiming it as their homeland since they began their blatant aggression against the jewish people in 1948. All of Israel, including the West Bank and Gaza Strip were rightfully ceded to the Jewish people at the breakup of the Ottoman Empire, through the British Mandates and the Balfour Declaration. The Arab lands were Transjordan.
Nothing has changed that legality since. Not the Churchill White Paper, not the Tenet Papers, and surely not the unfortunate lapse in judgement by Moshe Dayan.
Some of us are not ignorant of the facts. And those are the facts, Mr. President.

Notice, however, that the doctor shooting still gets more ‘ink and stink’ than one of our kids in uniform.
This lad, unwittingly, was drawn into a combat by a “non-uniformed armed combatant” on his home soil.
Don’t we know this kid? As children we shared toys and later played sports together. We might have paid him a few bucks to mow our lawns, shovel off our driveways. He made us laugh, and if he teared, we held him; as did he for us.
He died for us in a war against us. May he live in others.
(Yeah, I know, I’m dribbling off again. But, somehow, I’ve been stricken by this; frustrated by how few have?)
Private Long’s death is tragic. The general indifference to it is symptomatic of something just as tragic.

He stands proudly with 241 marines of Beirut, sailors and soldiers of Pearl Harbor and on through the ranks of Warren and Putnam of Bunker Hill.
Sorry about this but I have had it up to my eyeballs with everyone condemning a republican that is George Bush. I have heard all I want to about him starting a war he put us deeper in debt he caused are current economic problems B.S.
Ok now we have a very bad president and no i dont care what he says he is going to do because we all know what he is doing. He has made our great country look weak and has increased our debt more than Bush did in the 8 years he was in office.
Obama has ties to known terrorists Muslims and god only knows who or what else and yes I said GOD. Their is no such thing as political correctness only FREE SPEECH I am sick and disappointed in the children that grew up in a time when there was no B.S. and God and prayer and the Pledge of alligiance was said in school. Christian belief is going out the window and so will freedom of religion. Obama is not my president and I have no respect for a man or women (his Wife) who did not have respect for America until he was put in office. So yes Obama is destroying this country and no Bush did not create our economic woes. It has been brewing for along time and the war just popped the boil.

I am totally upset about the lack of coverage this story got. In fact, I first heard of this incident today by looking at an old Bill O’Reilly video on the internet and also remembering this Title on Tammy’s website. I do not have cable tv only what is on the air, but I do read alot of news on the internet and hear talk radio, and haven’t gotten the whole story until I researched it on the web. I am totally upset by the government controled news in this country and backs up what I already know, that we have no independent and free news organizations in this country!!! They suck and can’t be trusted anymore! God bless this soldier and I salute him and also will pray for him and his family.
