Hmm, maybe his pleats are coming back. Bush takes swipes at Obama policies

Report: NKorea plans to fire missile toward Hawaii

No Democracy Agenda Here

The tragedy of this moment is that a generation of Iranian reformers is being brushed aside by the leader of the free world.

Three days after the hastily announced victory for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President Obama belatedly expressed his “deep concerns” about the results–but not much else. His follow-up remarks on Tuesday were even more ambivalent: “Now, it’s not productive, given the history of U.S.-Iranian relations, to be seen as meddling . . . in Iranian elections.” Unlike any of his predecessors, this American president believes that publicly siding with democratic reformers against a theocratic dictatorship is the moral equivalent of “meddling” in a nation’s internal affairs. That must be music in the ears of every hardline mullah in Tehran.

Just one more illustration of why humans should not get too excited about themselves when compared to nature’s other creatures.

Yeah, looks like that McCain/Jeb Bush/Romney/Cantor leadership of the GOP is working out really well!

While it’s appropriate for Bush to speak out now, I don’t celebrate his reappearance. It drove me crazy when he didn’t respond to critics during his Presidency. Now his timing might be just right to stave off a drop in Obama’s popularity. The reason Bush is forced to speak out is that the Dems love to use him as a punching bag. While some may think the sickening realization that the Obama regime is a gangster takeover will put the Bush years in a more favorable light, I doubt it. The failures and mismanagement of Bush caused millions of Americans to believe the blowing of Obama’s nose was the trumpet call for hope and change. Bush was the wrong man at the wrong time with few exceptions.

NK aiming at Hawaii instead of Alaska…

…wonder who’s attention he is trying to get.

    Pat,

“It drove me crazy when he didn’t respond to critics during his Presidency.”

Hence one of the reasons why the Left is so strong now. Bush let them use him as a doormat. It made him (and Republicans) look worse in the eyes of the public, even if he did something that wasn’t wrong. And it trickled down to the other Republicans so that they’re afraid to stand up to Obama now.

I received another email today from Michael Steele asking for money. I thought I would share my response to him @ two email addresses I have.

    Michael Steele,

I received your latest email “send me money campaign” entitled URGENT!!! Help the RNC fight Obama & ABC News! ABC News is now – U.S. al jazeera, and you see this as an opportunity to raise $$. Money doesn’t speak out – you can and should. You and your fellow Republicans have got to start screaming about this continuing, constant, tearing down of our country. 21 czars!!! – I have heard nothing from you – this goes against our Constitution and everything America stands for. Iran – nothing in support of citizens dying for a tiny shred of democracy. North Korea is setting up another long range missile that ‘could’ reach Alaska – are we sure there is no war head this time? Two American journalists are prisoners in labor camps – where is the diatribe about their torture? And what is President Obama doing – pushing through socialized medicine that will bankrupt this country and cause Americans to die. And what are you doing – sending emails asking for money and nothing else. You should be ashamed – SPEAK OUT, DO SOMETHING. You and fellow Republicans are like a welfare state unto yourselves – you don’t want to do the work, but you want the handout.

    Still waiting,

Can you imagine this? They are going to fire a missile toward Hawaii. And we will do what? Shoot it down? Isn’t that half of what they want us to do… ie., prove to them our ability or inability in that regard? Let’s not forget Star Wars funding hasn’t exactly been perpetuated over and through the last few decades.

Boy, does this country ever need a Ron Reagan. Now, more than ever. Instead, we have a Black Liberation Theologist and Islamic sympathizer who could partner very well with Jimmy Carter.

Does anyone think this is going to go well for the US?

George W. Bush was the exact opposite of Edward G. Robinson’s character in that classic gangster film “Little Caesar.” He could take it but he had no idea whatsoever how to dish it out. The Democrats used him as their punching bag and he just sat there and did nothing and said nothing. It was like he had no guts at all. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why he never once fought back. Perhaps he felt he would ruin the “dignity” of the Oval Office if he went after his critics. In the end, it was just sad and pity was the only emotion you could feel for the man.

Let’s not forget that Independents like you, Tammy, are who put Urkel Obama in the White House.

    ROBK –

How in the world did you come to THAT conclusion??? It’s a joke, right?

  9. MScott says:

A missile lobbed at Hawaii? Does Mr. Poof Hair even know where Hawaii is? Sulu: What heading Captain? Kirk: Out there . . . . . thataway. I’d be more concerned about their taking out the Alaskan Pipeline, unless he’s afraid of pit bulls with lipstick . . .
