A great deal of that support assumes that candidates will demonstrate, as standard bearers, reasonable - reasonable - traits of good character, integrity, ethics, discretion and loyalty. The latter virtue being interpreted as appropriate to family, friends and country.<br /> Real people don't like to see anyone go down, but when we've gone out there in the storm, rowing against the wind and find that a leader is dragging the anchor, we get more than a bit pissed off.<br /> We can allow for the human dimensions, but not at the expense of the team's morale.<br /> On another matter, quite opposite of family tragedy:<br /> USA broke Spain's long-winning soccer run.
