UPDATE 10am pt:
Welcome to the new Tammy Blog web design! As you can tell, it’s a much cleaner, faster-loading site. We are still working on it but it’s certainly at a point where it’s worthy of making live :)
If you’re a commenter you’ve noticed you can’t login. That’s because we’ve also changed blog software. Instead of Typepad which I used before it is now WordPress. You will need to re-register in order to comment. I’ll make sure all previously ‘trusted’ commenters are trusted again asap.
Please also visit the sub-pages listed on the banner. I think you’ll like the look of those as well. Once comments are up and running John and I would like your critique and suggestions. What you think, what works and what you’d like added is important to me and I’d like to hear from you.
I want to thank John, the Grand Pooh-Bah over at Infidelsarecool. com for working so hard on the new design and for making key changes that make the site faster and easier to navigate.

I just wanted to alert everyone to the fact that we’re upgrading and redesigning the Tammy Blog. This includes switching to a new server late tonight. During the transition there will be a several hour period of time where you will get some sort of a ‘server not available’ error message. Dont be concerned, all will be back up and running by the morning.
At that point you will also see the Beta version of the new Tammy Blog design :)
Thanks for your patience everyone and I’ll see you tomorrow.
Crisp new look. Proud to be a citizen of the United States of Tammy.
Yes, it certainly looks clean and clear. Congratulations!
Movable Type’s loss is WordPress’s gain.
It looks pretty sweet so far.
I find wordpress the easiest to use anyway.
Very Cool… love the new website…
Looks clean and fast Tammy. Got the registration all done and happy to be back!
Redesigned site is beautiful…elegant and easy-to-navigate layout and content, with great use of photos. You’ve achieved a superior balance of quality and quantity.
Whoa! this is nice, Tammy. I’m impressed.
Love it! Nicely done. Very pleasing to the eye.
wow, finally wandered into the posting screen; whew…so, I’m ready for the 4th of July posting, Tammy Bruce. Love, the irreverance that Tammy bestowes onto Barkey, aka, Urkle (think Tammy was the first on my block to use the Urkle as the stand-in- in chief.
Much cleaner and easier on the eyes, took awhile to reset my WordPress info, but after a few tries I got it. Looking forward to more posts.
“I want to thank John, the Grand Boohpah over at Infidelsarecool. com for working so hard on the new design and for making key changes that make the site faster and easier to navigate.”
I think you meant to give John the title Grand Pooh-Bah, Pooh-Bah being a character in Gilbert and Sullivan’s opera The Mikado (1885) bearing the title Lord-High-Everything-Else.
Oh yes, you are right! Talk about dyslexia! I’ll make that change now :)
The new site does look nice and I’m glad it’s faster than before. Will the music list be put back up (and updated)? I finally found out who sang “American Girl” – someone named Suzanne Smith, who actually mentions you on her website, but describes you as “a very right winged, lesbian DJ” (which I find insulting – you’re not a DJ ;) ). But it would be nice to find out who does the rest of the songs you play.
Yes, a music list will absolutely be part of the site. A “right-winged” DJ, huh? Ive always thought of myself as balanced-winged, sorta independent! LOL!
What get’s labeled as “right-wing” these days is actually the balanced approach more often than not.
If you have an iPhone, there’s a fascinating app called Shazam, it lets you identify music by holding the phone up to the source, it listens, sends some data to the server, and comes back with the Artist – Title. Very cool.
Unfortunately, I don’t have an iPhone (I’m with Verizon). And yes, I heard of that app and if it works that would be very cool.
Shazam is a great application for the iphone. I have used it a number of times. You can find it here at the iTunes store for free.
I have used it in restaurants, cars, even watching TV.
I’m glad you’re adding some of the other images back, those were great posters, photos, etc. on the former site. :)
Absolutely. You’ll see additions and continuing improvements, including some of th old favorite icons like the flying-pig eating, Israeli-flag waving Muhammad :) You comments and suggestions are very important, so keep ‘em coming!
You have exceptional taste in art/symbolism, so that’s why those images are so compelling on your site, but you also want to get that balance “just right” so it remains clean, clear, and uncluttered, while still making it “compelling” :)
Yep I hear you, that’s exactly the goal. If I miss it, let me know ;)
I didn’t articulate that quite right…it was really just meant to be a compliment, not a lecture :) Some of us are feeling particularly worn out by having our rights and privileges of citizenship yanked about on a daily basis. Your show was great this morning, thank you…it helped ease the pain!
Oh l love the Muhammad pig eating Israeli flag waving thingy!
I like what I’m seeing in this new site. Looks great. Look forward to commenting here.
P.S. I’ve commented here as MLR (my TypeKey account).
I love Tammy Bruce and I love the new website design.
Awesome site Tammy. Congratulations!
Hello everyone,….. I’m new to Tammy’s site, I am a hugh fan of hers. Love following her on tweeter.
Having a chatroom during the show would be cool.
We’re contemplating that. Stay tuned…
Love the new website Tammy, clear and clean and easy to read, easy to find features.
I like the new site, but noticed that there is no contact info for Tammy? Am I not looking in the right place?
I used to be “pjb” with Typepad. Now when I comment I have to wait for it to be moderated before my comment is posted. I changed my nick to reflect the change in my life when registering with WordPress.
I also used to be post as “John” on the old site. I went with my Twitter ID when I re-registered. So hopefully I can become a “trusted” commenter again.
You’re not alone. I remain one of the “untrusted” as well… . But I remain optomistic. :)
Just wanted to let you know WordPress doesn’t seem to have the same ‘trusted’ commenter process, but we’re looking for a module that accomplishes this. I know most of you are my Trusted commenters from the previous design, and my #1 goal is to make sure that same process gets applied here. Thanks for your patience :)
You could set trusted commenters up as Authors in the User Roles part of the WordPress dashboard. That might be a solution.
Excellent idea. Let me check on that. Thanks Dog! :)
Great show today – as usual! Nice new site too. On the crap and tax bill – I heard some of the dems voted ‘nay’ because the bill didn’t go far enough. Who cares? They voted no; but the reasoning is a scary thing… We know why the traitor eight voted yay. Hypocrites and self-serving boobs who MUST be fired in 2010; after which, we go for The Once.
Yes it is a lot faster. Good work!
