Let’s just get the governors from each state in a room with all the conservative radio hosts and tell them that we have their backs if they just want to replace the whole dang administration.
Their all dirty excluding a handful. There are no longer any checks and balances to protect us.
Tell the governors to hold elections for new congressmen and senators and just move 535 new ones to a new location besides washington.
    Elect a new president.
The governors then just tell their state legislators that the old administration is irrelavent and all congressional decisions will come from the new administration.
Since the governors control the national guard in each state they would be able to defend themselves from the regular army (like they would not go along with the idea anyway) and all the radio hosts could be used for communications, becuase you can bet that communications would be the first thing that the present administration would try to disable first.
We just start over with the constitution in it’s original form with us acting as an informed and active republic.
And they all lived happily ever after.

These wreckless bills have one thing in common: They are all “cram-downs”. 1200 pages, plus a 300 page ammendment, with 3 hours notice of a vote, I think we can put a stop to this crap. I believe all of the senators and house members would embrace a rule change giving the house, or sennate 24 hours of review time for each 1000 words contained in a bill. The bill should have to be posted as a PDF, as soon as it comes out of committee, and then the clock starts. I can’t believe that most of the Republicans and many responcible Democrats would appreciate that minimal review time. It would probably cut the legaleze and lengths of these rediculous staff written debacles.

The reports on stimulus money being used to buy almost a million pounds of ham at exorbitant prices must be erroneous. I distinctly remember the purpose of the stimulus bill being to purchase pork, not ham.

I wish to point out something that was discussed on the 7/20 show.

Tammy, I am in total disagreement w/ you on the idea that abortion is not a conservative issue. Conservativism, by it’s very nature, promotes and preserves life and recognizes the value and talents of each individual. In relation to preserving and defending life, it allows individuals to be in control of their own path and leads to prosperity for that individual, his/her community and translates to building up an entire nation. Liberalism is destructive on all fronts. When it devalues one life in place of another, it invites chaos and misery into communities and influences an entire nation’s demise.

The protection of life is indeed something government does anyway through law – why is that so hard to understand? Our most basic laws are there to preserve the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness to each individual. Those very inalienable rights are not yours or mine to take away from someone else.

If you want to argue abortion is merely a religious issue, then what religion do you suggest is responsible for abortion? I will argue the religion of Social Darwinism is what has brought us to the point where we can destroy millions of our unborn citizens, slaughter without conscience those little innocents who may survive an abortion procedure itself, performing non-medical savagery in a partial birth abortion, consider inviting infanticide to newborns and euthanizing those who are elderly, terminally ill, disabled and eventually, anyone who gets in the way of big government. The moment government placed itself in the abortion debate in 1973, it placed a value on the life of certain citizens – it devalued the unborn. We now have a culture brainwashed into believing an unborn child is disposable at the whim of the mother’s choice. How cleverly the left have disguised a brutal crime and demonized those of us who fight to defend ALL life as nothing more than religious fanatics though many of us are not religious at all. In fact, many prolifers are atheists. Ignoring the atheists and agnostics who are prolife is a huge disservice.

The same arguments Ezekiel Mengele has outlined in euthanizing our seniors are rather harmonious with our society’s ‘reasons’ for allowing abortion. The economic hardship, inconvenience to others, quality of life – all those very same things used to destroy life in utero are the very same arguments being used to kill those in their senior years.

You also mentioned in a previous show that part of the reason congress wants amnesty was due to the low numbers in our workforce: we do not have as many people paying into Social Security to uphold the current seniors. Imagine how many people we erased from payrolls when we began the legalized slaughter of millions in 1973. Rather ironic that the very generation that put abortion into the the Supreme Court’s hands will wind up being among the first to be affected by Obama’s Hellcare program. Talk about something coming full circle.

The funding of abortion through federal dollars is wrong no matter who is in office, and yes, I wrote a rather lengthy and angry letter to Bush over funding of Planned Parenthood. Wrote to several members of the house, too. None of them wrote me back. Obama has expanded that federal funding by executive orders and now, if Hellcare is passed, it will go even further to promote and fund death on my dollar. I am against federal funding of abortion just as I am against funding of euthanasia. That’s what so many miss: the prolife movement has long recognized that all life is to be defended – it’s not just the unborn. It’s also for you.

You called for the intervention of government on behalf of the dogs Michael Vick tortured to death – and rightly so. You also said we must defend the voiceless and innocent. Is a human baby not worthy of such defense – and MORE?

I love relaying the story of how a roommate of mine once bought me a dog for company. I suffer from two kinds of arthritis and one very cold day in my house I was sitting in my chair and feeling acute pain throughout my legs. The dog came up and leaned on my sore legs and nuzzled up to me without being called . It kind of makes me tear up even now. How did the dog know that I was in pain? How did she know it was in my legs? How did she know that the heat from her body was so soothing to me right then?
When it came time to rescue dogs from Katrina flood waters I sent in $$$$$$ to care for them.
I do not like dogs but they looked so helpless. When you all were talking about reacting to Michael Vick I kind of glossed it over as not one of my interests. I am just not an “animal lover” and they tolerate me more than I tolerate them, obviously.
I am a practicing Catholic who prays special prayers every day to end abortions.
I realized that Tammy Bruce is a PROCHOICE person who has said over and over again that any woman who finds herself at the door of Planned Parenthood is signaling the world that she is a LOSER.
That is how I can listen to Tammy or not when she rants about Catholics and Theocracies and Prolifers. I am uneasy when I listen but I know that she holds CHOICE and individual freedom as a very high priority. I know that I am not going to marry Tammy so it is safe to have some major disagreements.
She is so much more to me than a perfectly fitting glove.
I did a VENN DIAGRAM to see how comaptible I am with Tammy and we share enough thoughts and ideas to be “traveling companions ” along the path of life’s vicisitudes.
I cannot expect more so I do not argue with her about abortion or the Pope’s vacation to his villa.
