in 1976,phillip craig garrido abducts- kidnaps- a woman, brings her across state lines , imprisons her and “sexually assaults” her. in 1977, he’s given 50 years in the state pokey for the crime.

paroled after only 11 years.

he’d still be in prison today if he served out his sentence then and this girl would have never been abducted.

death penalty for rape- especially if a crime against a minor. and we call it rape by decree from now on- no more ambiguity, no ‘sexual assault’ or ‘ molestation’. if we as a society really cared about our children – male and female- being sexually abused and raped by adults we’d actually punish the crimes with the severity they warrant instead of letting these pieces of filth off again and again. our culture and legal system enables the exploitation of children and barely notices, rarely punishes rape in general. the only surprise in this case is that the abducted child, now a grown woman, is still alive. our energy should be put into the psychological well being of victims such as this not in any vain misguided attempts to ‘ help’ and ‘ rehabilitate’ the criminal.

Unfortunately, our robed masters in their infinite wisdom have decided that we would only be allowed to execute these monsters if they had killed their victim.
