I knew Mrs. Palin was the real deal and she sealed it for me during the debate with Joe Biden. In her closing, she stated that one day we would wake up in an America where “we were not free”. Having been a part of the left in my college days {I grew up!}, I knew exactly what she meant. How true her words were. I am the mob!! Tea Party on!!

I read some of the comments on Politico’s coverage of the Palin statement, and the Leftists were in serious “Let’s dismiss Palin” mode. Between the Leftists yelling “Quitter!” and saying “Who cares?” I didn’t notice any of them really take Palin’s points into consideration. (Not surprising, but predictable and funny coming from the folk who claim to be smarter than the rest of us.)

To Palin’s points, she’s right, but I don’t think she goes far enough. I’ve come to the conclusion that the Odumbacare bill isn’t a finished product, per se, but rather a first step towards a much larger bureaucratic nightmare that will ultimately end choice in health care, not just choice in health insurance. If Odumbacare 1.0 passes, you will see efforts to “level the playing field” with private companies to make the public option look much more attractive, “cheaper,” and better for everyone on it.

That’s why I’m speaking out against Odumbacare in any of its forms. We destroy it now, or we’re looking at people with the intelligence of the vapid Joe Biden telling us that you’ll have to wait six months for someone to see you for the heart attack you had 15 minutes ago.
