Really! It's true! My car gets 18 MPG and the new one must get at least 22 MPG to qualify. Now, let's see...At the current $2.60/gallon, and the average American putting 12,000 miles a year on their vehicle, that's $1734 bucks a year for gas. If I get the new car (with the $3500 bucks reward) the 12,000 miles will only cost me $1470! Wow! That saves me about $317 bucks a year. Over $26 dollars a month! But wait...there's a little problem. In order to save the $26 a month I'll have to take on a loan that will cost me nearly $343 a month! And that's a 0% interest 4 year loan! So, in order to save $26, I have to spend $343...Dah? But you say, don't worry. Your helping the planet. Look at all the imported oil you'll be saving! Terrific! That makes me feel better. Gee, since I'm saving so much money with this new car and its fantastic gas mileage, I think I'll take a second vacation this year!
