Hi, Tammy great show this morning. As far as Ted Kennedy goes I only will comment on his desire for socialized health care. Just a comparison of TeddyCare and ObamaCare.

In his book “Ted Kennedy: The Dream That Never Died,” Edward M. Klein described the medical care that was availiable to Kennedy once he was diagnosed with brain cancer: top neurologists and oncologists. Even police escorts to the hospital! Now, quite frankly he could afford this type of care. But it does make one wonder if he wanted the same type of care for “all Americans,” when he saw Obama as the one who would make his healthcare-reform dream come true.

Does anyone really doubt that if any one of We The People get brain cancer, which type of healthcare we will recieve? TeddyCare, or ObamaCare? In case you’re still not sure, just see what Tom Daschle wrote in his book and what Spector wrote about end-of-life issues to clear things up for you.

Might I remind everyone that Senators Kennedy and Spector were in their 70′s when they were diagnosed with cancer, and no one told them to just “take a pill.” Are they more important than you, I, or our ill loved ones? And is their “importance” to “the state” the reason that they weren’t told just to take a pain pill and die?

You’re right, Tammy. Spector and Kennedy are proof that ObamaCare doesn’t take into account joie de vivre.

Hi tammy, I usually agree with most of your opinions, but this is just evil Roderic !~
chappoquitic is a messed up thing, yes teddy ran like a lil sceared boy, and was later cleared of all charges. i dont agree with that, but to blast a respected senator of 47 years over his poor choice to leave the sene, shows you as being a “HEARTLESS COWARD” !

    • Mary Val says:

How old are you child? You must be young, you can’t spell and are innocent of all historical fact and grammatical rule — it’s “scene”, and “scared”, and Teddy is a proper noun, so you should capitalize it. It’s Chappaquiddick, yes, that’s a hard one but it’s another proper noun, and you CAN look these big words up when you don’t know how to spell them. You certainly aren’t old enough to have been alive when Teddy left Mary Jo to die, to save his own behind. No one who lived through it would call that a “poor choice” or be deluded enough to believe that Teddy “was cleared of all charges”. He wasn’t charged with Mary Jo’s murder, because he was a Kennedy. He SHOULD have been charged with Mary Jo’s murder and spent the next 25 years in jail like his nephew. You know, the one that beat 15 year old Martha Moxley to death with a golf club? It was a gross, and I do mean gross, miscarriage of justice.

Respected senator my ass, Teddy Kennedy was a complete pig. He was drunk and partying with some other big dogs at a secluded hideaway, getting stinking drunk and cheating on their wives, the night he left Mary Jo to die. “Poor choice”? Mary Jo lived possibly as long as 90 minutes in that submerged car with her face pressed to the roof of the car in an air pocket, waiting for help., while Jabba Kennedy called his attorney and his cronies for advice, and then waited to report the accident until the next morning when his blood alcohol level dropped to a subprosecutorial level. He deliberately left that girl there to DIE, he did NOTHING to help that girl, trying to maintain his political career and presidential ambitions. That’s not a “poor choice” , that’s a coldly selfish and deliberate one. Instead he destroyed them, and thank God we never had that pig as president. Read a little history, child, and take some spelling courses.

        what you said..

and the scumbag wasn’t ‘ cleared of all charges’. no one was more politically connected in MA than teddy- son of joe, bro of bobby and john. the entire incident was covered up: a warrant should have been issued for his arrest and wasn’t. the court proceedings were secret and shouldn’t have been. they stole the girl’s body from the morgue before autopsy and before her own parents could claim it- and nothing was done about it. ted even had the gall to call them and tell them their daughter was dead but neglected to say he was driving the car she died in. they found that tid bit out from the press.

she was alive when he left the water. there were houses all around with phones- help and divers could have been there in less than 10 minutes. ted only called the police when he noticed activity around the pond- 9 hours later.

in 47 years ted only served one thing- himself. a millionaire who demonized the rich at every term. a champion of woman’s rights who murdered an actual female and the incident was treated like he swatted a fly. a champion of the environment who wouldn’t allow windmills, green power, near his compound . a sitting senator who worked with foreign communists to undermine president regean. his greatest achievement was the mass of pork he hauled in for his dysfunctional clearly delusional state full of kennedy worshipers- the obama zombies of another time .

It was such a relief to hear someone NOT eulogizing Kennedy when I tuned into Tammy’s Podcast for 8.26.09. Tammy, keep saying what is on your heart. What you did was point out the extreme hypocrisy of the Left as revealed by whom they choose to hold up as heroes and icons. Kennedy Care. What a picture that conjures up for me. Kennedy “care” is what Mary Jo got! I don’t want it! Americans deserve much better than any care Kennedy would conjure up for us. What a frikkin sick joke that man was. I, for one, see his death as a good thing for America. It is an observable and quantifiable truth. Deal with it, people.

Keep exposing the evil doers, Tammy. It makes people squirm when we don’t say “nice” things at the “appropriate” moment. Well, your words were entirely compassionate and appropriate because you are defending the real victim/s of this man. When we pet, fawn over and praise evil doers it is the equivalent of spitting on all their victims. You, Tammy, were one of the few standing up for the right people and right principles. And I agree with you on this too: what the hell with showing respect to a man who showed such disrespect for life and for the American way of life??!! I don’t play those games and am eternally glad Tammy doesn’t either.

In a weird juxtaposition, Dominick Dunne passed on at the same time as the whale. News of his death will be completely overshadowed, of course, but he helped bring to light (and to justice in some cases) the acts of the rich, powerful, murdering elites. Ironically, two of them were Kennedy clan members — Michael Skakel and William Kennedy Smith. I’m sure they thought their names would protect them, but it didn’t, at least in Skakel’s case. Mr, Dunne, RIP, Sir, for all you did for justice in these and in many more cases.
