Just a welcome back to everyone after being down for a day. At first we crashed due to Obama Joker post going viral around the world. Not a bad problem to have, but a problem nonetheless. It was obvious we needed to make some changes and so I decided to move the blog onto a bigger, better server which I have aptly named “Ripley.”
The migration began last night and as you can see has completed. There are a few elements that still need to be placed and that will happen shortly, but overall we’re up and going. Now we have a server which is bigger, faster and more secure. It was a growing pain, and I want to thank all of you for your patience.
If you are a Tammy Army member, you received yesterday’s and today’s show podcasts via email. Shortly I will have them posted in the “Podcasts” page as well.
Lots to blog about obviously, in the meantime, please feel free to use this post as your Open Thread.

UPDATE: First, podcasts from yesterday and today are now available on the Podcasts page for Tammy Army Members (TAMs). I do have a request for all the blog readers: this migration thing will have some bumps along the road. If you encounter a problem of any sort, a comment won’t post, error messages or other troubles, please email me with details either at the private Tammy Army email or the public email tammyblog[at]yahoo[dot]com. Thanks 🙂 And just a heads up, with our rapid growth and traffic, my hosting company has suggested one more upgrade which, if I decide to go for it, I will have implemented this weekend. This would be a move allowing unlimited growth. As usual, however, the weekend podcast will be available and forwarded to TAMs if need be. Thanks again 🙂

Glad Euna Lee and Laura Ling are coming home; we’ll know soon enough at what cost.
I understand that we “right wing extremists” “tea baggers” are now an “angry mob” that is being directed and bused in to town hall meetings by various groups. According to idiot mouth-piece Robert Gibbs: “Conservative groups ‘brag about manufacturing anger’ (Conservatives for Patient Rights being one specific group named by Gibbs). Also – us flooding the switchboards on Capitol Hill “doesn’t mean much” according to Dick Durbin. The liberals never learn, this name-calling crap won’t work anymore and ignoring us is to their detriment. Some of the constituents are being denied access to town hall meetings and some blue dogs are holding their meetings at odd hours, away from their constituents – as reported by a Michigan caller on talk radio today. We will march on Washington, on September 12, 2009 – this will be a “mob” like they have never seen before. Citizens who love America and want their country back!
Health Care Reform has been renamed Health Insurance Reform hoping we won’t notice; it’s the same socialized, death care plan. Cap and Tax will be back, a move for amnesty is coming, and who knows what else, but we are lucky – we have General Tammy and each other; we shall overcome!
I hope we don’t have to go through that again for a long time!

This breakdown for a day does enforce the thought on what the hell would we do if communications via internet were halted due to who knows what. I was hacked that I could not get to Tammys site for a day. Imagine not getting to anything for a longer period of time. Something to think about & prepare for.
