Now, thanks to a bipartisan collaboration between Obama and Joe Wilson, there’s a flurry of “YOU LIE!” paraphernalia. Check out the sumptuous variety of merchandise that has instantly appeared at Zazzle and CafePress and eBay. It seems that, in spite of Obama’s best efforts to crush it, the American entrepreneurial spirit lives on.

He’s the man that digs up the hackneyed, formulaic clichés from yesterday’s rubbish heap and turns them into vivid art. He’s old and he’s new. He’s a one-man cinematic bridge between the past and the future. Don’t go to “Inglourious Basterds” expecting simply a war movie. Yes, it’s a war movie on the surface. However, this is at its core an homage to every war movie ever made. It’s as much a real war movie as James Bond is a real spy. Dizzy Doctors Redux
by Maynard on September 8, 2009A post by Maynard, in anticipation of Obama’s upcoming address I’m going to go out on a limb and assume Mr. Obama will harp on the shortcomings of evil insurers in order to push for his intrusive, bureaucratic, life-threatening, budget-busting, divisive, wasteful, unpopular “public option”. However, he won’t consider curbing tort abuse or benefits for non-citizens. Action on those last points, although it would be applauded by a supermajority of Americans of all political affiliations, would require an unthinkable challenge to the powerful special interests that feed at the public trough. In one month alone Americans made themselves and this nation safer (from enemies foreign and domestic) by choosing to exercise one our most precious rights–the right to own a firearm.
