point one: live cast is key to Tammy’s number one position on Talkstream. Lose that and the audience will disappear — there’s twenty five others that are topical, banging it out more or less in real time. Who wants microwaved rehashes?

point two, more important to me: I am a Tam to support Tammy’s voice as my proxy on the intertubes. I want her opinion (Urkle, Dumb Bastard et al) out there. 2010 needs Tammy live. But so does the slow crawl to Palin 2012; getting there without a public Tammy Bruce is inconceivable.

I like podcasts to grab what I missed. Lacking a meaningful relationship with my iPod imitation, it’s just more stuff in my laptop. That’s ok, and maybe I’ll work on that.

Listen to both live feed and podcast. Predominantly use podcast but like and do use the live feed.

1) On occasion there is breaking news during live segments, like an L.A. car chase perhaps. Nothing grabs you like raw commentary as the news unfolds. Hearing about it after the fact, maybe already knowing the resolution, simply isn’t the same. Live broadcasts have an immediacy, an edginess, a spontaneity. Can you imagine Tammy with a laugh track?
2) I agree with the many who said that not having a live online stream may crimp growing the fanbase.
3) Not everyone can afford to be on Team Peep – especially the youth, the impressionable future of our country. Unless Tammy’s thinking of prerecording the show the day before and posting it free and “live” in the same timeslot each day. I don’t know how well people will listen to a prerecorded show if they have live show alternatives.
4) Sending out taped missives reminds me of the cowardly Bin Ladin.

Having said all this, I listen primarily to the podcasts. This is so I can fast forward through the boring stuff. lol. Really though, it’s because of the convenience.

I listen to the podcast mainly but will tune into the live stream when i am at my desk, otherwise it gets downloaded into my ipod. What would be THE best would be a webcam visual of your show…you are so restrained on FOX that I think it would be excellent to watch you while you work…Yeah. I am curious as to what your gestures are when you scream…”visti Prague while you can!” I’m just saying.
