Update: Received feedback from school Administrators regarding the Obama Address. Grade school will not be broadcasting the address, middle school will not be broadcasting the
address, Jr High WILL be broadcasting the address but they will abide by my wishes and
allow my son to excuse himself to the library during the broadcast and subsequent discussion.
Also, I received one email directly from a teacher advising me she would never watch the
Address herself, much less subject her classroom to that unless specifically directed to by
order of the School Superintendent :)

I like this direct approach in lieu of simply pulling my kids out of school for the day. This way
the powers that be get direct feedback from me as I call a spade a spade. This speech is being
delivered under the guise of “education/learning”. However, this malignant narcissist cannot remove himself from anything and conduct himself in a bipartisan fashion. Our malevolent Assclown In Chief simply cannot resist injecting his mantra.

1elder1: Yeah, I’m pretty well know for slinging more than* gum *in this school district. Go figure ;) I’ve heard rumors there’s a party in the works with my upcoming move. He he he. Cheers!

Seems to me the worst offense Obama is perpetrating against the kids is selling them into debt to pay for his cronies and boondoggles. This self-aggrandizing “Obama is your friend” line is disgusting; the entire nation owes the children a huge apology for what it’s doing to them. Instead we screw the kids and apologize to the Islamic world.

Just sent the following email to all four of my kids teachers & administrators

“I am aware that our President plans to deliver an Address to all American
students K-6th grade on September 8, 2009.

Unless the White House provides the text of this Address for parents review prior to 9-8-09,
I will not approve of my children viewing or listening to the Address. I
understand the premise of this Address is to discuss “learning/education”.
However, I am of the opinion that this is simply an attempt to indoctrinate
by a man who cannot resist his partisan and/or messianic impulses. As a concerned
Conservative, I will not allow my children to be subjected to that.

I would like to know what each Administrator’s/Teacher’s plans are regarding this
Address as it applies to all four of my children”

I live in a flaming liberal community so I assume that the school system here plans
on broadcasting the Address and teachers will of course treat it reverentially. I guess
the question boils down to………… will my kids miss a few hours of school or the whole
day?

We are going to have to spend YEARS undoing the damage that Obama has done to this country
in the few short months he has been in office. I will not voluntarily allow him to spend another
MINUTE effing with my children or their future. Not on my watch.
