I predicted by Monday, so I guess I was right ;) And at least we finally know how Urkel is able to get so many freakish friends (and the odd van) under that bus! Pretty soon, though, the driver of that bus is gonna find himself under there with all the other fools. Now that will be a good day.

Obama ‘green jobs’ adviser quits amid controversy

President Barack Obama’s adviser Van Jones has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.

Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly “green jobs” with the White House Council on Environmental Quality was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the 2001 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

So let me see if I understand this: Glenn Beck still on the air. Van Jones fired. Sounds about right.

Did Obama actually say, during the election campaign, “Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself”? That quote is being tossed around; note sure if it’s apocryphal. (Not that anyone cares about facts, but I like to be precise in these things.) Anyway, in a sane world, Van Jones and any of his associates (including BO himself) would be barred from public office. But if the world were sane, we wouldn’t have gotten to this point in the first place.

The quote of “Judge me by the people with shom I surround myself” is from the debate that he had on TV with McCain during the campaign when there was a question of his relationship with Bill Ayers. You can see this on a you tube video of Glenn Becks at about 2:20 on the time scale. Just google obama video surround and it will come up. There were other times he said it as well, but this will suffice for the record.

Well, Van Jones is a reflection of Obama, period. I’m not at all surprised that he made this appointment and that he eventually got rid of him.

    Let’s all sing along!

The Van that Dr. God President acquired was a clunker for cash instead of the other way around… and today it stopped working. (at least at taxpayer expense). Hallelujah.

So, Van Jones says he’s a victim of a “vicious smear campaign” and “lies and distortions to distract and divide”. His signature is on the 9/11 “truther” petition, and for days now we’ve been seeing the videos of him spewing his paranoid vitriol. He’s a victim of having his foot planted firmly in his mouth, and his head stuck squarely up his rear end. Weeny.

I know a victim of a “vicious smear campaign” and “lies and distortions”: her name is Sarah Palin. Here’s another one: Tammy Bruce. No whining here. (Dude, conservative women rock!)

  6. IslandLibertarian says:

More than half of America has no idea who or what Van Jones is.
The MSM has utterly failed in their duty to inform America of what is happening with our President “0″(pronounced zero).
How ’bout a Sixty-Minutes episode about that bus and all those under it?

Beck laid it on the line, he deserves the credit for a job very well done. I don’t understand why some prominent republicans are taking his credit by claiming it was a victory by the GOP. It was conservatives of all stripes; libertarians, independents, democrats and republicans. Good job Mr. Beck, if I wore a hat I would tip it to you sir.

I find it hard to understand how President Obama continues to get a free pass. According to Special Report with Bret Baier, this got almost no coverage on the “mainstream” media. At what point is black racism (as repeatedly demonstated by Mr. Jones) going to be recognized for what it is and be deemed as inappropriate as white racism? When he appoints bigots like Mr. Jones, President Obama has no credibility when he claims to be “post-racial”.

  9. thierry says:

ayers and/or rev wright should have been enough to have made it so obama never got near the white house let alone the senate. but he did and that’s what was so deeply disturbing. we would never be at this terrible place with our constitution and bill or rights being held over the shredder if obama himself had been properly vetted by the press and the opposition.

I’ve been reading a book called “The great upheaval” by Jay Winick. Awesome book I highly recommend it. Right now I am reading the part about the French revolution. It is times like this that make me really understand why Thomas Jefferson was so giddy about it. Urkel does not know the fire he is playing with right now. I am not saying we are going to get our guillotines out but we will not stand Idly by while Barack Obama figuratively spits on the country that George Washington gave his all for. I will be at the Tea Party in Great Falls Montana on September 12. I am particularly outraged at the role Jon Tester and Max Baucus are playing. They are nothing more than appendages of the federal government. They do not represent Montana or the people living there. If you want to see what Obama and his greenjobbers (Jeffersons word was stockjobbers) Have done to just one part of Northeastern Utah read this article. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705328165/Beneath-the-surface-Hard-times-high-hopes-meet-in-Uintah-Basin.html I lived in Vernal Ut 2 years ago and it was booming. It was no coincidence that in November 2008 the jobs in Vernal literally disintigrated.
This is what Sarah Palin has been talking about when she speaks of the oilfield jobs in Alaska.

What does this kook leaving say about the MSM? Simply that they didn’t do their job. I’m willing to bet that most of the nation doesn’t even know who Van Jones is because it’s not in “the news.” However, regarding Jones’ departure, the MSM will report that conservatives “forced out” one of the President’s czars. They’ll use vague terms to describe Jones’ past. But that’ll be it.

Isn’t it something that talk radio, people who use modern communications [camera phones, Twitter, FaceBook, etc.] independent and conservative press, and last but not least, citizen reporters/bloggers, are the Woodward & Bernsteins of today? These folks are beating the MSM to the punch by simply talking about what’s going on today.

I really don’t know how the MSM will redeem themselves when something even worse happens during Obama’s administration and they don’t report on it. Except maybe by throwing Obama under the proverbial bus when the time comes. And right now, it doesn’t look like they”ll ever do that.
