With regards to the GDP, recall that it also includes government spending: increases in spending by the government will also increase GDP. So no doubt that in addition to cash for clunkers and the tax credit for home owners, out-of-control government spending had something to do with the rise in GDP.

Finally! A video from the RNSC with some bite! I agree with [d]Ear Leader that he inherited junk from George W. Bush. But, it’s nine months now since his inaguration. Nine months that he, “Nazi” Pelosi, and Hair-brain Reid, got what they’ve wanted: complete control over the government. The current situation is their baby, and they need to own the bastard!

Talking about Iraq I believe we know what it is made up of now. Talking about Afghanistan gives me a headache. Want to hurt the Taliban? Burn the poppy fields!!! Then help the Afghan people. Can’t get to the bad guys? Blow up the mountains! Their country’s history has already been destroyed by the Taliban. The Afghan people have to make a choice just like the Iraqi’s had to. United States get on with it or get out. Enough of our soldiers have died.
